Yongde County is subordinate to Lincang City, Yunnan Province. It controls Nanting River in the East and Nujiang River in the West. It is surrounded by Gengma County, zhenkang County, Longling County, Shidian County, Changning County, Fengqing County and Yun county. Yongde County was established in 1963. The county has the town of dedang, so it is named Yongde. The area is 71.5 km wide from east to west and 75.8 km long from north to south, with a total area of 3296 square kilometers, and the mountainous area accounts for 95%. Yongde County governs 3 towns, 7 townships (including 2 ethnic townships), 22 ethnic groups including Han, Yi, WA, Bulang, Dai, Lisu and Lahu, with a total population of 369700 (2010).
The climate of Yongde County belongs to the valley monsoon climate of the intersection of south subtropical and North tropical. The terrain is high in the southeast and West, inclined to the north, and shaped like mulberry leaves. Although the surface of the county is inclined and relatively broken, there is no barren land. The main scenic spots are Yongde Snow Mountain National Nature Reserve and Yongde earth Buddha. In 2010, the GDP of Yongde County was 2337.53 million yuan.
Yongde County is the traditional passage of Yunnan Myanmar border, the main producing area of Terminalia chebula in South China, the hometown of mango in Yunnan, the national sugar base county, the provincial tea, animal husbandry, commodity grain and corn seed production base, and the natural tourist scenic spot in Yunnan Province. In December 2018, it was awarded the National Climate mark of climate ecology category.
On May 17, 2020, it will officially withdraw from the poverty-stricken counties.
Historical evolution
In the Western Han Dynasty, it belongs to Ailao state and is famous for its stone. Yongping 12 years of the Eastern Han Dynasty (69), under the Yongchang County.
Shuhan of the Three Kingdoms belongs to Yongchang County of Yizhou. From the Western Jin Dynasty to the southern Liang Dynasty, it belongs to Yongchang County of ningzhou. From Zhou Dynasty to Sui Dynasty, it belongs to Pu Department.
Tang Dynasty, Nanzhao state, built tuonancheng in the county, belonging to Yongchang Festival.
Song Dynasty, Dali state, changed Tuonan to Kangcheng, which belongs to Yongchang Prefecture.
Yuan Zhizheng 13 years (1353), set up zhenkang Road, zhenkang mang Shi ruoyuan Xuanfu division.
In the 15th year of Hongwu in Ming Dynasty (1382), zhenkang Prefecture was established as the chief administrative department of Yunnan. Hongwu 17 years (1382), reduced to zhenkang Zhili Prefecture, Yongle 3 years (1405), province into the Bay Dian Yuyi Zhili Prefecture. Yongle seven years (1409), home town Kang Yu Yi Zhili Prefecture, still belongs to the chief secretary.
In the early Qing Dynasty, it was Zhili tuzhou in zhenkang. Shunzhi 16 years (1659), down town kangtu Zhili Prefecture for the San Zhou, Yongchang military and civilian government. In July of 1730, Yongchang Prefecture was located in yixidao. In July, 1908, zhenkang tuzhou was changed into a committee member. In the first month of the 34th year of Guangxu (1908), the administrative office of zhenkang (TU) Prefecture was moved from Yongkang to the German party. In September of the second year of Xuantong (1910), the zhenkang Committee was changed to Yongkang Prefecture, still belonging to Yongchang Prefecture.
In 1913, Yongkang Prefecture was changed into zhenkang county. In the same year, yixidao was changed into dianxidao, and zhenkang County belonged to dianxidao. In 1914, the West Yunnan Road was changed to Tengyue Road, and zhenkang county belongs to Tengyue road. In 1929, it was directly under the provincial government. In 1942, it was the fifth administrative supervision district of Yunnan Province (in shunning county). In 1948, it was the ninth administrative supervision district of Yunnan Province (in Ning County, Myanmar).
On April 5, 1950, zhenkang county was liberated, and the county government was stationed in dedang Town, under the jurisdiction of Baoshan District.
In the spring of 1953, it was assigned to the present Lincang area in Mianning.
In January 1964, the western border area of the county was delimited and a new county was built. In order to maintain the relative stability of the geographical name of the border, the new County followed the old name of zhenkang county. Therefore, the county was renamed Yongde, and its governance still follows the German party.
In 1970, Lincang district was changed into Lincang District, and Yongde County was subordinate to Lincang district.
In December 2003, Lincang was set up as a city. Yongde County is a prefecture level Lincang City.

On March 21, 2004, mengmercury wa Township in Yongde County was abolished and merged into dedang Town, where the town people's government was stationed.
In 2005, Mingming township was abolished in Yongde County, and its administrative region was merged into dedang Town, while the government residence of dedang town remained unchanged.
