Naxi district is one of the three core cities of Luzhou, the "Chinese wine city". Located on the southern edge of Sichuan, on the Yangtze River, Yongning River, it was named for the "barbarian tributary of the barbarians" (the ethnic minorities). The Southern Song Dynasty established five years (AD 1232), and built the county in 1996. The county was built in 1996, with a total area of 1150.22 square kilometers, with 10 towns and 3 streets, and the registered residence population was 461418. With convenient and accessible transportation advantages, longhuang railway, national highway 321, Sichuan Guizhou expressway, Sichuan Chongqing Expressway and other traffic arteries run through the whole area. Historical evolution
"Yongle grand ceremony of Luzhou annals" contains: "Naxi County, county name. In ancient times, there was a stream, which was controlled by Yongning Jieshou and bet on Lujiang. In the past, the Marquis Ge Wu pacified Yunnan, and the Barbarians (ethnic minorities) paid tribute to this stream, which is also called "Yunxi" because of its name.
During the spring and Autumn period and the Warring States period, it belonged to Ba Prefecture of Ba state.
From the Western Han Dynasty to the Western Jin Dynasty, it was originally located in Jiangyang county. During the Han Dynasty (304-347), Jiangyang county was under the control of YILIAO (ethnic minorities). Jiangyang county was sent to Wuyang county (now the south of Jingyan county) and then to Wuyang county (now the Northeast of Pengshan County). It was called xijiangyang county and later returned to its native land.
Emperor mu of the Eastern Jin Dynasty (345-361) set up Han'an County here (today's Dadukou Town, Naxi District), which was initially under the jurisdiction of Jiangyang County, and later under the jurisdiction of dongjiangyang county.
In the southern and Northern Dynasties, it was mianshui county.
Sui belonged to Luzhou, Jiang'an, Han'an and other counties.
Tang belongs to Jiang'an and Jingnan counties.
In the third year of emperor Renzong's reign in the Northern Song Dynasty (1051), Naxi village was built at the mouth of the Yongning River into the Yangtze River.
In 1232, Naxi village was upgraded to Naxi county. First Luzhou, then jianganzhou.
The yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties were all under the jurisdiction of Luzhou.
In the first year of the Republic of China (1912), it belonged to the southern Sichuan military government, and later to xiachuannandao and yongningdao. In 1929, Yongning road was abolished and directly under the Sichuan provincial government. In 1935, it was subordinate to the office of the Commissioner of administrative supervision of the seventh district.
On December 3, 1949, Naxi was liberated. On December 12, the people's Government of Naxi county was established, which was subordinate to the special office of Luxian county.
In 1952, it was transferred to Longchang special office.
At the beginning of 1953, it belonged to Luzhou special administration.
In 1960, it was changed to Yibin district.
In June 1983, Luzhou city was established under the provincial jurisdiction, and Naxi county was under the jurisdiction of Luzhou city.

Naxi district is located in the south of Sichuan Basin, at the intersection of Yangtze River and Yongning River, south of the Yangtze River, on both sides of the lower reaches of Yongning River, connecting Hejiang County in the East, Xuyong County in the south, Jiang'an County in Yibin City in the west, and Jiangyang District in Luzhou City in the north. The highest point of Naxi district is Puzhao mountain clay rock in Dagu town. There are two linear mountains in Naxi District, both of which strike east-west.
