Renhe District Renhe district is under the jurisdiction of Panzhihua City, Sichuan Province. It was founded in 1973, which means "benevolence, justice and morality, and work together". Renhe district is located in the south of Panzhihua City, adjacent to Huili County in the East, Yongren County in Yunnan Province in the south, Huaping County in the West and Yanbian County in the north.

Evolution of organizational system

Renhe district was under the jurisdiction of the counties established by the central government in the Qin and Han Dynasties.

In the Jin Dynasty, Sui and Tang Dynasties, Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms to Song Dynasty, except for the state and county governance set up by the central government, it had long been a separate regime of Nanzhao, Dali and other local governments.

In the Yuan Dynasty, it was under the jurisdiction of Lixi, Baixing and Beisheng in Yunnan Province.

In the Ming Dynasty, it belonged to Chuanwei and yanjingwei, the capitals of Sichuan Province, and Yaozhou and beishengzhou in Yunnan Province.

In the Qing Dynasty, it still straddled Sichuan and Yunnan provinces, and was under the jurisdiction of Ningyuan Prefecture in Sichuan and Chuxiong Prefecture in Yunnan.

In the Republic of China, prefectures and prefectures were abandoned, belonging to the capital of Sichuan Province, Yanbian County, Dayao County (later Yongren County) and huabad County of Yunnan Province.

After the founding of the people's Republic of China, the territory still spans two provinces and four counties; the eighth District of Huili County (Hongge); the Fifth District of Yanbian county (Tongde) and the Sixth District (Wuben); the third district of Yongren County (Datian) and the fourth district (Renhe); and the Sanyang District of Huaping County. On December 31, 1965, four counties in Yunnan and Sichuan provinces were divided into 43 communes, and four administrative regions, Dahe, Datian, Jinjiang and Yuquan, were established. In February 1973, the four administrative regions were established into three county-level municipal districts, namely East District, west district and suburb. On August 7, 1981, the suburb was renamed Renhe district.

Location context

Renhe district is located in Panxi Rift Valley, at the junction of Sichuan and Yunnan. The geographical coordinates are between 26 ° 06 ′ - 26 ° 47 ′ N and 101 ° 24 ′ - 101 ° 56 ′ E. It is adjacent to Huili County in the East, Yongren County in Yunnan Province in the south, Huaping County in Yunnan Province in the West and Yanbian County in the north. It covers an area of 1727.07 square kilometers, including 94.51 million square meters of cultivated land.

Renhe district is located in the west of the middle part of the North-South structural belt of Kangdian. The exposed strata are relatively complete, and the Proterozoic, Paleozoic and Mesozoic are the most developed, while the Cenozoic is few and sporadic. The Mesozoic sedimentary rocks are distributed in Wuben, Baodingshan and baoanying. From Jinning period to Yanshanian period, the intrusion of granite magma formed granite bodies of different periods, mainly distributed in Panzhihua, bashiqing, Hongge of Renhe District, BAISHIYAN and Salan of Miyi district.

The terrain of Renhe district is generally inclined from northwest to Southeast, mainly mountainous. Shizhuang, Pingdi township (937m above sea level) is the lowest elevation in Panzhihua City.

Renhe district belongs to a variety of climate types in the south subtropical North Temperate Zone, known as the "three-dimensional climate with the south subtropical as the base". The microclimate is complex and diverse, and the three-dimensional climate is obvious. The whole region is divided into three vertical climate zones: the valley below 1500 meters above sea level is dry and hot valley climate, the valley between 1500 meters and 2200 meters above sea level is warm and moist low middle mountain climate, and the top of the middle mountain above 2200 meters above sea level is cold and wet middle mountain climate. The annual average temperature is 20.3 ℃. The annual rainfall is about 850mm, the four seasons are not clear, and the dry and rainy seasons are clear. Long sunshine (2300-2700 hours), strong solar radiation (578-628 kJ / cm2) and strong evaporation. Generally, the hottest month occurs in May, and the coldest month occurs in December or January. Generally, the rainy season is from early June to October, and the dry season is from November to next May. The frost free period is more than 300 days.

River system

Rivers in Renhe District belong to the Yangtze River system, mainly including Jinsha River and Anning River.

Jinsha River flows into Panzhihua City from ganqinggoukou, Taiping Township, Renhe District, and then flows eastward and southward to Shizhuang out of Pingdi town; Anning River flows into Yalong River at the estuary (2.5km below the bend Beach) at the junction of Renhe District, Miyi County and Yanbian county.

By 2012, more than 20 kinds of minerals have been found in Renhe District, mainly including iron, titanium, barium, copper, lead, zinc, nickel, tin, gold, platinum, palladium, beryllium, pyrite, granite, marble limestone, clay, graphite, phosphorus, vermiculite, coal, inkstone, oil rock, etc. There are 63 mineral deposits, belonging to 17 large and medium-sized deposits.
