Sanhe Sanhe City, subordinate to Hebei Province and managed by Langfang City, is located at the junction of Beijing and Tianjin, just one river away from Beijing. It is the county-level enclave with the largest area and the highest administrative level in China. It is 30 kilometers away from Tiananmen in the West and 25 kilometers away from the capital airport in the northwest. It governs the East and West urban areas, and is known as the "Pearl of East Beijing". It governs 3 districts, 10 towns and 4 streets.
Sanhe county was established in 716 A.D. in 1993 with the approval of the State Council. It borders Jizhou District in the East, Pinggu District in the north, Shunyi District in the northwest, Tongzhou District in the west, Dachang Hui Autonomous County in the southwest, Xianghe County in the South and Baodi District in the southeast.
Sanhe is located in the alluvial plain before the Yanshan veins, with a total area of 634 square kilometers, and the landscape is interdependent and the fields are connected. Historical evolution

The Northern Wei Dynasty belongs to Yuyang County of Youzhou.
At the beginning of kaihuang period of Sui Dynasty (581 AD), Yuyang county was abolished and changed to Zhuo county.
In the second year of Wude of Tang Dynasty (619 AD), Linhe county (the predecessor of Sanhe county) was located in the east of fenlu county. It was named because it was close to Jishui and belonged to Xuanzhou. In 716 ad, Sanhe county was built in the east of Lu county. It belongs to Youzhou. The name of the county is still used today.
In 1012 ad, Sanhe belonged to Jizhou, the capital of Youzhou in Nanjing. Later, Youdu mansion was changed into Xijin mansion.
In the first year of Jin Zhenyuan (1153 AD), Yanjing was changed to Zhongdu road and Daxing Prefecture was established. Sanhe County belonged to Daxing Prefecture.

In the Republic of China, shuntianfu was changed to Jingzhao, which was directly under the central government. Sanhe belonged to Jingzhao area. In 1928, the capital was moved to Nanjing, and Zhili was renamed Hebei Province. Sanhe county is subordinate to Hebei Province.
