It is close to Beibu Gulf, Beihai City in the East, Fangchenggang City in the West and Qinzhou Port in the south. It is the jurisdiction of Qinzhou City. Historical evolution
Qinnan District has a long history, which can be traced back to the Neolithic age. In the pre Qin period, it belonged to Baiyue. After the first emperor of Qin unified China, it was under the jurisdiction of Xiangjun. From the Han Dynasty to the Jin Dynasty, Qinzhou belonged to Hepu County of Jiaozhou. At the end of the Southern Dynasty, Yuanjia set up Moshou County, which was the earliest system of Qinzhou. Anzhou was established in Liang Dynasty. In 598 ad, the name of Qinzhou was changed to "Qinshun". in 622 ad, ningyue county was changed to Qinzhou governor's office; in Yuan Dynasty, it was changed to Qinzhou road; in the early Ming Dynasty, it was changed to Qinzhou Prefecture; in the Republic of China, it was changed to Qinxian County, which is under the jurisdiction of the Qinlian special office of Guangdong Province. after the founding of the people's Republic of China, the office of the Commissioner of corruption was set up in Guangdong Province. In 1951, it was transferred to Guangxi Province, and in 1955, it was restored to Guangdong Province. At one time, it was merged into Zhanjiang district. In July 1965, it was again attached to the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and was changed into the office of the administrative Commissioner of Qinzhou Prefecture, which has jurisdiction over seven counties and cities, namely Shangsi, Fangcheng, Qinzhou, Lingshan, Pubei, Hepu and Beihai. Beihai city was designated in October 1983. In 1985, Fangchenggang was separated from Fangcheng county and established the Fangchenggang Administrative Region under the jurisdiction of the autonomous region. Hepu County was assigned to Beihai City in July 1987. On June 28, 1994, with the approval of the State Council, Qinzhou Prefecture was abolished and a prefecture level Qinzhou City was established. Qinnan District was established by Qinzhou City on June 28, 1994. In January 1997, Qinzhou Port Economic Development Zone was established and separated from Qinnan District. In 2001, Liguang overseas Chinese farm was assigned to Qinnan District. In September 2003, Qincheng district was abolished and returned to Qinnan District. The District People's government is located in Qinzhou town. In 1996, Qinnan District covers an area of 2214 square kilometers and has a population of about 500000. In 2012, the government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region (GZH No. 75) approved to adjust the administrative boundaries between Qinnan District and Qinbei District of Qinzhou City, and put the Xiangyang sub district office, Shapo community and Yongfu community, Nanzhu sub district office, baishuitang community and Beiying community, Shuidong sub district office, Xiaojiang community and Shantang community under the jurisdiction of Qinbei district.
