Guangyang District Guangyang District, affiliated to Langfang City, Hebei Province, is one of the downtown areas of Langfang city. It is the political, economic and cultural center of Langfang city. It is the seat of Langfang Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China and Langfang Municipal People's government. It is located in the North Central part of Hebei Province and the north of Langfang city. It has five streets, three towns, one economic and Technological Development Zone and one management committee, with a total area of 361.89 square kilometers The total population is 410000 (2013).
Guangyang was located in the state of Yan in the Zhou Dynasty. Anci county was set up in the Western Han Dynasty. In 1989, Langfang city at prefecture level was established and anci district was set up. In 2000, the north part of Beijing Shanghai railway in anci district and towns such as Jiuzhou and Wanzhuang were set up and Guangyang district was established. Guangyang has intangible cultural heritages such as Chuzhuang Gaoqiang opera, jizhongsheng guanyue, Li Pai Taijiquan, etc., and cultural relics such as dazaolinzhuang ancient Huai, Beiwang village site, etc.
Guangyang district is located in the north of North China Plain, with a warm temperate semi-arid monsoon climate. Yongding River, Longhe River, Fenghe River and old and new Tiantang River pass through the territory. Langfang Economic and Technological Development Zone is located in the area. The main grain products are wheat and corn, and the industrial categories include machinery manufacturing, building materials, electronic appliances, food, seasoning, clothing, glass products, printing, chemical industry, etc. In 2013, the GDP of Guangyang district was 15.04 billion yuan.
In December 2018, Guangyang district was confirmed by the Ministry of civil affairs as the third batch of national experimental areas for community governance and service innovation.

In ancient times, Guangyang was the site of Anxu.
In the Western Zhou Dynasty, it was the Yandi of Beirong.
In the spring and Autumn period, it was the capital of northern Yan.
During the Warring States period, the territory belongs to Guangyang County of Yan state.
In the Qin Dynasty, it belonged to Guangyang county.
In the early years of emperor Gaozu of the Western Han Dynasty, anci county was established, which was subordinate to Bohai County of Youzhou.
In the eighth year of Yongyuan (96), Emperor he of the Eastern Han Dynasty restored Guangyang County, which belonged to anci county.
In the Northern Wei Dynasty, it was renamed Ancheng County, belonging to Youzhou Prefecture.
Guangyang has a long history, detailed: after Pangeng moved the capital of Yin in Shang Dynasty, it was located in the northeast of Yin Dynasty, the eastern border of yanjingrong (now near Taiyuan).
In the Western Zhou Dynasty, it was the land of Beirong and Yan. In the spring and Autumn period, it was the capital of Ji.
During the Warring States period, it belonged to the state of Yan and was under the jurisdiction of Guangyang County, Yuyang county and Julu County.
In the Qin Dynasty, the central part of Langfang (Jin'an sub district, Guangyang District, Bazhou City, Yongqing County, Gu'an County) belonged to Guangyang County, the northern part of Langfang (today's Sanhe City, Dachang County, Xianghe County, etc.) belonged to Yuyang County, and the southern part of Langfang (Jin'an County, Dacheng county) belonged to Julu County.
During the reign of emperor Gaodi of the Western Han Dynasty, it belonged to the Department of governor of Youzhou. At the beginning, it was named as Bohai County of Youzhou, and Fangcheng county (now Gu'an County) was named as Yan state. In the sixth year of emperor Gaodi (201 BC), Yichang county was established as Zhuo county;
Set Lu county (jurisdiction of today's Sanhe City), yongnu county (jurisdiction of today's Tianjin Wuqing District, Xianghe County), Li Yuyang county. In the first year of Yuanfeng (80 BC), Fangcheng county was changed to Guangyang County, and in the first year of Benshi (73 BC), it was changed to Guangyang state. In the fifth year of the Yuan Dynasty (44 BC), Wang Ziyun was the Marquis of Linxiang, Rong was the Marquis of Xixiang (Hou Jingsi Mian), FA was the Marquis of Yangxiang; in the third year of Yongguang (41 BC), Wang Ziying was the Marquis of Yichang.
After the reform of Wang Mang in the new dynasty, the twelve ancient states were restored and the counties were crisscrossed.
In the second year of Jianwu (26th year) of the Eastern Han Dynasty, Fangcheng county was changed into Fangcheng County, belonging to Guangyang state of Youzhou. In the 13th year of Jianwu (37th year), Fangcheng county was changed into Shanggu county.
In the second year of Yongyuan (1990), Wen'an County and Dongping Shu county were transferred to Hejian state of Jizhou. At the end of Jian'an, it was changed into Zhangwu County. In the eighth year of Yongyuan (1996), the feudal states of Yang, Linxiang and Xinchang (Prince Yanci's fiefdom, now in Gaobeidian), Fangcheng county (governing today's Gu'an County, Yongqing county and Bazhou city) belonged to Zhuo County of Youzhou's history department, and the feudal state of Yichang (formerly Yichang County) belonged to anci County, which was changed from Bohai county to Guangyang Department of Youzhou's history department;
Lu county (under the jurisdiction of today's Sanhe City and Dachang Hui Autonomous County) and yongnu county (under the jurisdiction of today's Wuqing District and Xianghe County) belong to Yuyang County of Youzhou governor department.
The Three Kingdoms belong to the state of Wei. Wenan county and dongpingshu County belong to Hejian County of Jizhou; Fangcheng county belongs to Fanyang County of Youzhou; anci county belongs to Yan state of Youzhou; Lu county and yongnu County belong to Yuyang County of Youzhou.
In 265, the first year of Taishi in the Western Jin Dynasty, the state of Zhangwu was established. Dongpingshu was ruled by the state, and Wen'an County and dongpingshu County belonged to it. Fangcheng county and Changxiang County belong to Fan Yang state of Youzhou, and anci County, Lu county and yongnu County belong to Yan state of Youzhou.
The Sixteen States of the Eastern Jin Dynasty were under the jurisdiction of the later Zhao, the former Yan, the former Qin and the later Yan.
During the northern and Southern Dynasties and the Northern Wei Dynasty, it belonged to Youzhou. Changxiang county was changed into Changxiang county. Fangcheng county and Changxiang county are Fanyang County of Youzhou, and dongpingshu county is changed into Pingshu county. Wenan county and Pingshu county are Zhangwu County of Yingzhou, while Lu county and yongnu county are Yuyang county. In 556, Fangcheng county and Changxiang County entered Zhuoxian county. Anci county is Yan Prefecture, the rest remains unchanged.
In 583, Yuyang County, Yan County and Zhangwu County were abolished. Anci County, yongnu county and Lu County belong to Youzhou; Wen'an County and Pingshu County belong to Yingzhou. In the ninth year of kaihuang (589), Zhuoxian county was analyzed, Fangcheng county was abandoned, and Gu'an County (now Gu'an town) was set up. In the third year of Daye (607), anci County, yongnu County, Lu county and Gu'an County belonged to Zhuo County; Wen'an County and Pingshu County belonged to Hejian county. In the first year of Zhenguan (627), Xuanzhou was abolished and merged into Youzhou, and linli County was removed and restored to Lu County, which was subordinate to Youzhou; Fengli county was added to Wen'an County, which was subordinate to Yingzhou; beiyizhou was abolished and Gu'an County was changed into Youzhou; Jingzhou was abolished and Pingshu county was changed into Yingzhou. In the first year of Ruyi (692), Wulong county (now Yongqing county and Bazhou city) was established by analyzing the two counties of anci and Gu'an. In the first year of Jingyun (710), Huichang county was renamed. In the second year of Jingyun (711), Wen'an belonged to Zhuozhou. In the fourth year of Kaiyuan (716), Sanhe county was set up in the east of Lu County in Youzhou, which was subordinate to Youzhou. In the 18th year of Kaiyuan (730), it was changed to Jizhou. In the first year of Tianbao (742), the Prefecture was destroyed. Taking the meaning of "border Yongqing", Huichang county was renamed Yongqing county (now Yongqing county and Bazhou city) and yongnu county was renamed Wuqing County. Yongqing County, Gu'an County, anci county and Wuqing County are subordinate to Fanyang County; Sanhe county is subordinate to Yuyang County; Dacheng county is subordinate to Hejian County; Wen'an County is subordinate to Wen'an County. In the second year of Zhide (757), Banjun was restored to Zhou. Sanhe county was subordinate to Jizhou; anci County, Wuqing County, Yongqing county and Gu'an County were subordinate to Youzhou; Pingshu county was subordinate to Yingzhou; Wen'an County was subordinate to qiezhou. In the fourth year of Dali (769), Gu'an County was changed to Zhuozhou.
In the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms, Sanhe county was subordinate to Jizhou; Wuqing County, anci county and Yongqing county were subordinate to Youzhou; Gu'an County was subordinate to Zhuozhou; Wen'an County was subordinate to Zhuozhou; Pingshu county was renamed Dacheng county and subordinate to Yingzhou. In the first year of Tianfu in the later Jin Dynasty (936), Shi Jingtang cut sixteen prefectures of Yanyun to bribe Qidan, which belonged to Liao Dynasty. In 959, Zhou Shizong recovered yijinguan (today's Bazhou city), waqiaoguan (today's Xiongxian county) and yukouzhai (today's Xin'an town), and set up another Yongqing county (today's Bazhou City, county governance in today's Bazhou town). In the Northern Song Dynasty, the southern part of Langfang belonged to the East Road of Hebei, and the military of Bazhou, Xin'an and Baoding. Bazhou has three counties: Wen'an, Dacheng and Yongqing. In 981, yukouzhai was transformed into a broken army (the military system was the same as that of the prefecture), and 317 families belonged to Yongqing, Wen'an and Dacheng counties in Bazhou; Pingrong army was built in Zhuozhou new town (now Wenan new town), and 500 families belonged to Wenan and Dacheng counties in Bazhou. In the first year of Jingde (1004), the army was changed to Xin'an army; in the next year, the army was changed to Baoding army. In the second year of Jingyou (1035), Yongqing county was abolished and Wenan county was moved to Yongqing city (now Bazhou town).
