Historical evolution
Chengzhong district has a long history and many ancient human cultural sites, which is the original area of Liuzhou.
In the sixth year of Yuanding (111 BC) of the Western Han Dynasty, Tanzhong county was set up as Yulin County, which was the beginning of the construction of Liuzhou city. In the third year of Sunwu Fenghuang of the Three Kingdoms, Guilin county was separated from Yulin County, and Tanzhong County belonged to Guilin county.
