Sihui Sihui, a county-level city in Zhaoqing City, Guangdong Province. Because of the four rivers (Xijiang, Beijiang, Suijiang and Longjiang) flowing in the territory, it is named "Sihui". Located in the middle of Guangdong Province, east of Zhaoqing, and on the northwest edge of the Pearl River Delta, it is located in the lower reaches of the west, North and Suijiang rivers. The Tropic of cancer divides the whole territory into two parts. It is adjacent to Sanshui District of Foshan City in the East, Dinghu District in the south, Gaoyao District in the southwest, Guangning County in the northwest and Qingxin District of Qingyuan City in the northeast.
In 1993 and 1994, they respectively entered the ranks of the top 100 counties (cities) in the country's rural economy and the top 100 counties (cities) in the country's economic strength for two consecutive years, and achieved a well-off life in 1996.
In 2014, Sihui City was ranked 97th among the top 100 counties and cities with comprehensive strength of China's small and medium-sized cities and 76th among the top 100 counties and cities with the most investment potential in China.
On December 7, 2016, the Fourth Committee was listed as the third batch of national new urbanization comprehensive pilot areas.
In October 2018, Sihui City was selected as one of the "top 100 counties with comprehensive strength", one of the top 100 counties with national investment potential in 2018, one of the top 100 counties with national green development, one of the top 100 counties with national science and technology innovation, and one of the top 100 counties with national new urbanization quality.
In November 2018, it was selected into the national "happy 100 counties list" in 2018, identified as the first batch of innovative counties (cities) by the Ministry of science and technology, and ranked in the top 100 of China's county-level cities in the overall well-off index.

In the 33rd year of Emperor Qinshihuang (214 BC), Emperor Qinshihuang sent Ren Xiao and Tu Ju to take Lingnan and set up Guilin County, Xiang county and Nanhai county. Juxtaposed with Sihui County, the jurisdiction includes all or part of the present Sihui, Guangning, HUAIJI and other cities and counties, and is subordinate to Nanhai county.
In the fourth year of emperor Gaozu of Han Dynasty (203 BC), Zhao Tuo established the state of Nanyue under the rule of Lingnan, and Sihui county was its territory. In the sixth year of Yuanding (111 BC), eight counties were built in the region, Sihui county was subordinate to Nanhai County; Guangxin County, xiemu County, Gaoyao County, Fengyang County and Duanxi county were subordinate to Cangwu County; Gaoliang county and Linyun county were subordinate to Hepu County; all of them were subordinate to Jiaozhou.
In the fifth year of Wu Huangwu in the Three Kingdoms period (226), the southeast of the county (i.e. some areas of Sanshui, Heshan, Xinhui, Jiangmen, Kaiping, Taishan, Doumen, etc.) was divided into Pingyi County (later changed to Xinyi county and Xinhui county).
During the northern and Southern Dynasties (420-479 AD), Gaoyao, Guangxin, Fengxing, Wuhua, Duanxi, Jinhua, Ducheng, Lecheng, Yuecheng, furuan, ansui, Binjiang, Wenzhao, Nanxing, Xinxing, Linyun, Gandong, Danti, Longtan, Funa, Bolin, Weiping, Xinzhao, Huameng, Huamu, Sihui, HUAIJI, Huazhu, Pingxing, chuning, Zhaoxing, Jianning, Chonghua, Ximu were set up Chongde, xiemu, Kaijian and YONGGU are 38 counties, which are under the jurisdiction of Nanhai, Cangwu, Jinkang, Xinning, suijian, Songlong (formerly Songxi) and Linqing.
In the ninth year of kaihuang (589) of Sui Dynasty, the county was abolished and the three counties of Xinzhao, Lecheng and Huacheng were merged into Sihui county. Daye three years (607), the restoration of Nanhai county. Sihui county and Huameng County belong to Nanhai county.
In the fifth year of Wude (622), nansui Prefecture was established in Sihui and Huameng counties. In the sixth year of Xining in the Northern Song Dynasty (1073), Sihui belonged to Duanzhou.
In the first year of Zhenghe in the Northern Song Dynasty (1111 AD), HUAIJI County was subordinate to Guangzhou. In the 17th year of Yuan Dynasty (1280 A.D.), Zhaoqing mansion was changed to Zhaoqing Road, and the general manager mansion was set up, which belonged to Guangxi Road (in the 29th year, it was changed to Guangdong Road). In the eighth year of Hongwu in Ming Dynasty (1375), a branch office of xunling West Road was built in the east of the county. In the winter of 1417, it snowed heavily. In the 38th year of Jiajing (1559), the Yao people in Luoshan and xiaoluoshan were killed by the imperial court. After the uprising, they were separated from Sihui and set up in Guangning County.
In the early Qing Dynasty, it was made in the Ming Dynasty. Zhaoqing Prefecture is Guangzhao Luodao administrative office, which is under the jurisdiction of Guangdong Province. Kaiping county was set up in the sixth year of Shunzhi (1649 AD); Heshan county was set up in the ninth year of Yongzheng (1731 AD)
In the autumn of the ninth year of the Republic of China, the administrative division system of DuPu below the county level was abolished and the district and township (town) system was replaced.
In 1952 and 1958, Sihui was merged with Guangning County, which was called Guangsi county. In 1954 and 1961, Sihui county was set up separately. Sihui county belongs to the central Guangdong administrative Commissioner's office and Zhaoqing regional Commissioner's office respectively.
On November 25, 1993, Sihui was set up as a city instead of a county.
In 1996, Sihui city governed three streets and 14 towns: Chengzhong street, Dongcheng Street, Zhenshan street, longfu Town, Didou Town, Weizheng Town, Luoyuan Town, Jingkou Town, Dasha Town, Xinjiang town, Shigou Town, Huangtian Town, dengcun Town, Jianggu Town, Jianglin Town, Longwan town and Xiamao town.

In 2002, Sihui City had jurisdiction over three streets of Zhenshan, Chengzhong and Dongcheng, 14 towns of Longwan, longfu, Didou, Weizheng, Luoyuan, Jingkou, Xinjiang, Dasha, dengcun, Shigou, Huangtian, Xiamao, Jianggu and Jianglin, 158 village committees and 25 neighborhood committees.
In November 2003, the city's 17 towns (streets) were merged into 13 towns (streets): Xinjiang town was merged into Dongcheng Street, dengcun town into Zhenshan street, Jianglin town into Jianggu Town, and Longwan town into Xiamao town. The total area of the city is 1163 square kilometers. The total population is 401000, and the foreign population is 39700.
