Yishui County Yishui County, subordinate to Linyi City, Shandong Province, is the sub center of Linyi City in the north, an ecological landscape city. It is located in the Central South of Shandong Province, the hinterland of Yimeng Mountain, and the upper reaches of Yihe River and Shuhe river. It is adjacent to Ju county in the East, Yiyuan and Mengyin in the west, Yinan in the south, Anqiu and Linqu in the north. The total area is 2434.8 square kilometers, ranking the second among the county-level administrative divisions in the province. The total population is 1.1596 million. It has jurisdiction over 2 streets, 16 towns, 1 Economic Development Zone, 1 Yimeng scenic spot and 359 rural communities. County Government in Yicheng street.
Yishui has a long history. The county was set up here in Qin Dynasty. It was named Yishui County in the 16th year of kaihuang of Sui Dynasty (596 AD). Yishui is a famous old revolutionary base in modern times. It is the hometown of hongsao and one of the birthplaces of Yimeng spirit.
The preliminary accounting data of GDP of the whole county in 2019 is 42.311 billion yuan. At comparable prices, it was 3% higher than the previous year. Among them, the added value of the primary industry was 4.331 billion yuan, an increase of 0.7%; the added value of the secondary industry was 16.301 billion yuan, a decrease of 2.1%; the added value of the tertiary industry was 21.679 billion yuan, an increase of 8.1%; and the tertiary industrial structure was 10.3:38.5:51.2.
On June 12, 2014, it was rated as "National Tourism standardization demonstration county" by China National Tourism Administration, becoming the first Tourism Standardization Demonstration County in Shandong Province. In July of the same year, Yishui in Linyi was recognized as the cultural heritage of Chinese place names. On September 25, 2018, it won the honorary title of "2018 e-commerce into rural comprehensive demonstration county" of the Ministry of Commerce. In October 2018, it was selected as one of the top 100 counties and cities with investment potential, top 100 counties and cities with green development, top 100 counties and cities with scientific and technological innovation, and top 100 counties and cities with new urbanization quality in 2018. It was selected as one of the top 100 new urbanization quality counties in China in 2019. In 2020, Shandong Province will build a pilot city of four-star new smart city. In July 2020, it was rated as "advanced county of high quality development" by the provincial government.
Historical evolution
Yishui county is an ancient land with a long history and splendid culture. Judging from the cultural relics unearthed in this county, the early Paleolithic stone artifacts and antler hammers unearthed from the nanwa cave in fanjiawang show that our ancestors lived here as early as 200000 to 300000 years ago. There are more than ten sites of microlithic found in the qiandongding of Yefang and xishuiwang village, which show the continuation of the ancient history of our county. By the Neolithic period, more than 20 sites of Dawenkou Culture, Longshan culture and Yueshi culture were found in Yicheng sub district office, Xujiahu, Yangzhuang, fuguanzhuang, Mazhan, Shagou and other towns. It proves that our ancestors lived in the mountains and plains, along the banks of Yi and Shu rivers, fishing, hunting and eating, and began to settle down, thus creating a splendid ancient culture.
Yi is recorded in the history books, which was first seen in Yugong and Zhouli.
In the Xia Dynasty, Yishui County entered Qingzhou in the north and East, and Xuzhou in the south.
In the Shang Dynasty, Yishui belonged to the people.
In the Western Zhou Dynasty, Yishui belonged to the state of Lu.
In the spring and Autumn period, Yishui was called Yun. After the battle between Ju and Lu, he entered Qi.
In the Warring States period, Yishui was the cover.
In the Qin Dynasty, Yishui belonged to Ju county, Langya county.
In the Western Han Dynasty, Yishui was located in Dongguan County, Langya County, Xuzhou governor's department in the East, Gaiyi County, Taishan County, Yanzhou governor's department in the west, and Chengyang, Yangdu and Dong'an in the south.
In the Eastern Han Dynasty, the city of YangGuo was abandoned, and Yishui belonged to the Langya state of the governor of Xuzhou. At the end of the Eastern Han Dynasty, Dongguan and Gaixian were promoted to prefectures.
In the Three Kingdoms, Yishui is located in Dongguan county and Dong'an County in the north of Xuzhou, the governor of Wei state, and Yangdu of Langya state in the south.
In the early Jin Dynasty, the old system of Wei was used. In the seventh year of Yuankang (297), Dongan County was set up in Dongguan. Since Yongjia (the Eastern Jin Dynasty), the Sixteen States have been divided, and the ownership of Yi has changed. From the second year of Xianhe (327) to the fifth year of Yixi (409), Yishui was successively owned by the northern minorities, such as houzhao, Qianyan, qianqin, Houyan and Nanyan. Murongde of Nanyan changed Dongguan County into Tuancheng.
In the northern and Southern Dynasties, Yi was under the jurisdiction of the South and the north, and successively belonged to East Xuzhou, South Qingzhou, Dong'an County, and Ju state.
In the Sui Dynasty, at the beginning of emperor kaihuang, Dong'an County was abolished and set up. Kaihuang 16 years (596) renamed Yishui County, do not set Dongan County in gugai county. At the end of Sui Dynasty, Dongan County was abolished and Yishui County was established, which belonged to Langya county. The name of Yishui county is still used today.
In the fifth year of Wude (622) of Tang Dynasty, Yidi belonged to Juzhou, and in the eighth year of Zhenguan (634), Juzhou was abolished, and the county belonged to Langya county (now Linyi) of Henan Daoyi Prefecture. During the period of Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms, Yishui belonged to Yizhou successively, including Houliang, later Tang, later Jin, later Han and later Zhou.
In the Northern Song Dynasty, Yishui County belonged to Langya County of Yizhou on Jingdong East Road.
In 1126, Emperor Taizong destroyed the Northern Song Dynasty. North of the Huaihe River was occupied by Jin, and the county belonged to Juzhou, Shandong east road.
Yuan Dynasty, in 1234, the Yuan Dynasty destroyed the Jin Dynasty and returned to the Yuan Dynasty. In 1279, the Southern Song Dynasty was destroyed and the whole China was unified. Yishui county belongs to Juzhou, Yidu Road, xuanweisi, Dongxi Road, Shandong Province.
Ming Dynasty, early Ming Dynasty. Hongwu nine years (1376), Shandong Cheng announced that the Secretary of Qingzhou government.
Qing Dynasty, early Qing Dynasty. Yongzheng eight years (1730) to Ju Zhou, Yongzheng twelve years (1734) to Yizhou.
In 1913, Yishui County was under Dainan road. In 1915, it was changed to Jining road. In 1925, it was changed to Langya road. In 1928, it was directly under Shandong Province. In February 1936, the office of administrative inspector of the third district of Shandong Province was established, which belongs to Yishui County. In June 1939, Yishui city was occupied by Japan. Thirty years (February 1941), belongs to Shandong Province wartime work Implementation Committee Luzhong District Yimeng special office. In August 1943, Yizhong and Yidong counties belonged to the Yimeng special office of the Shandong Provincial Administrative Committee (renamed as the provincial War Union). In January 1944, Yibei and juyibian counties belonged to Yishan special office. In July 1945, Yizhong County belonged to Yimeng special office of central Shandong administrative office; on August 13 of the same year, it belonged to the second special office of central Shandong administrative office of Shandong provincial government (renamed by the provincial administrative committee). In the 37th year (July 17, 1948), it was the second special office of the Central South Administrative Region Office of Shandong provincial government.
In July 1949, it belonged to Yimeng special district of central and southern Shandong administrative region of Shandong Provincial People's government, and the name of Yishui County was restored in August. At the same time, Yibei and Juyi were merged into Juyi County, which belongs to Yimeng special area.
After the founding of the people's Republic of China, Yishui and Juyi counties still belong to Yimeng Special Administrative Region of Central South Shandong Province.
On May 11, 1950, it belonged to Yishui special zone of Shandong Provincial People's government.
In August 1953, Yishui district was abolished and merged into Linyi District, and Juyi county was abolished. Nine districts belonged to Yishui County, and Yishui County belonged to Linyi district.
In 1967, the county was transferred to Linyi Revolutionary Committee.
In 1978, the Revolutionary Committee of Linyi area was changed to Linyi area.
On April 21, 1994, Linyi Prefecture was abolished and Linyi City (prefecture level) was established. The county still belongs to it.

In 1734, the county was divided into 143 Li. In 1827, the county set up 126 societies. In 1910, there were 14 townships and 116 communes in Xuantong County, namely, inside and outside Chengguan, southeast one, Southeast two, due south one, due south two, southwest one, southwest two, due west one, due west two, northwest one, northwest two, due north, northeast one and northeast two.
Regionalization of the Republic of China
In the early period of the Republic of China, the administrative division was made in Qing Dynasty. In 1928, in order to implement local autonomy, the township and community were abandoned. The county was divided into 18 districts, namely Heyang, Sucun, duozhuang, andI, Yiwen, Wangzhuang, Dongli, Yuezhuang, Mazhan, SHUSHUI, Gaoqiao, daotuo, Gezhuang, Gegou, Huangshan, jiehu, Zhangzhuang and Yazhuang. After that, zhanggeng and Hushan were added to 20 districts.
On June 9, 1930, four districts, Gaoqiao, Gegou, Zhangzhuang and zhanggeng, were abolished and four new districts, Chengjiao, miaojiaqu, laopo and Fengtai, were established. On June 30 of the same year, it was divided into 10 districts and 122 communities.
In the spring of 1934, districts and communities were abolished and townships were established. The county was divided into 125 townships. At the end of 1935, it was adjusted to 30 townships.
At the end of February 1936, 10 districts were restored and 30 townships were adjusted to 40 townships.
On June 9, 1939, the Japanese invaders occupied Yishui for the second time. The national Yishui county government moved to Zhuge and Shagou first, and then to Nanqiang Valley and Daizhuang. In the summer of 1940, he moved to Shilou (today's Yiyuan County) and got a temporary foothold under the protection of the 51 army of the Kuomintang. Due to the absence of a fixed hospital, political affairs were gradually abolished. However, the Japanese aggressors organized and established the puppet Yishui County Office in Yishui city. Within its control area, there are five districts along both sides of Qingyi highway: Chengguan in the first district, Gaoqiao in the Second District, Sucun in the third district, Mazhan in the fourth district and liujiadianzi in the south of the Fifth District.
In the Anti Japanese Democratic base areas, administrative divisions were changed from time to time according to the needs of the Anti Japanese war situation. Since June 1939, ten District democratic governments have been established. The old names of the district system are as follows: the first district, the Second District, Gaoqiao, the third district, Dongli, Xiawei, Yiwen, Sucun, Mazhan, Yuezhuang, andI and Heyang. In October of the same year, the South and North Yimeng joint defense offices were set up. The South Yimeng Joint Defense Office has jurisdiction over the former five, six, nine and ten districts of Yishui County; the North Yimeng Joint Defense Office has jurisdiction over the former one, two, three, four, seven and eight districts of Yishui County.
