Jishui County belongs to Ji'an City, Jiangxi Province. It is located in the middle reaches of Ganjiang River in the middle of Jiangxi Province. It borders Yongfeng County in the East, Qingyuan District in the south, Jizhou district and Ji'an County in the West and Xiajiang County in the north, covering an area of 2509.73 square kilometers. It has been more than 1300 years since the founding of Jishui County in Sui Dynasty. Historical evolution
Jishui County as early as 5000 years ago in the Neolithic age, there are ancestors living in the territory. Summer is Yangzhou, located in the west of Yangzhou. In the late Shang Dynasty, it was Wu and returned to Chu in the Warring States period.
After Qin Shihuang (221 BC) unified the whole country, it belonged to Luling County, Jiujiang county.

In the seventh year of Tianyou reign (910), Yang Wu occupied Jizhou and inherited the system of Tang Dynasty.
