Changjiang District Changjiang district is under the jurisdiction of Jingdezhen City, Jiangxi Province. Located in the southwest of Jingdezhen City, it is named after the Yangtze River. It is located between 117 ° 1 ′~ 117 ° 16 ′ E and 29 ° 6 ′~ 29 ° 26 ′ n, adjacent to Leping City in the south, Fuliang County in the north and Poyang County in the West. It is a typical suburban area around Zhushan district.
The whole region is about 30 km long from east to west and 20 km wide from north to south, covering a total area of 432 square kilometers, with a total population of 171600 in 2012. Among them, the rural population is 83000.
In July 2019, it will be selected as the pilot county (District) of the national intellectual property project.
Historical evolution
In the spring and Autumn period, the territory belonged to Gufan (PO). After the Tang Dynasty, most of the territory belonged to Fuliang County. After liberation, it belonged to Jingdezhen. In 1954, it was founded in the suburbs. In March 1970, the Revolutionary Committee of Jingnan district was established, with jurisdiction over taibaiyuan, Changjiang and Dongjiao people's commune. In March 1979, Jingnan district was renamed as Changjiang District, a county-level authority with sub district offices.
The people's Government of Changjiang district was established in December 1980. In July 1983, Yushan commune and Hetang reclamation farm in Boyang county were divided into Changjiang district. In the same year, Gucheng commune, fengshushan forest farm, Chaoyang reclamation farm and Xianfeng reclamation farm were under the jurisdiction of Changjiang district. In August 2002, the west suburb sub district office of Zhushan District of Jingdezhen city was put under the jurisdiction of Changjiang District, and the taibaiyuan sub district office of Changjiang district was put under the jurisdiction of Zhushan district. On July 1, 2005, Lvmeng township was transferred from Changjiang district to Jingdezhen high tech Zone.
On March 6, 2019, the Central Propaganda Department, the Ministry of finance, the Ministry of culture and tourism, and the State Administration of cultural relics announced the list of counties for the protection and utilization of revolutionary cultural relics (the first batch), in which Changjiang district was included.

In 1983, Nianyushan Township and Hetang reclamation farm in Poyang County were assigned to Changjiang District of Jingdezhen city. On June 21, 1985, old urban and rural areas and Nianyushan township (No. 333, ganfuting Zi) were set up. On March 14, 1987, Liyang township was set up. On September 19, 1987, Hetang township was set up.
On January 9, 1989, Nianyushan township was abolished and Nianyushan town was established.
On July 20, 1989, the old urban and rural areas of Changjiang district were abolished and changed into Fuliang town (now Fuliang County). On February 17, 1990, the Hebei villagers' group of Yanghu village committee and Qingtang village committee of Jingcheng Township, Changjiang district was assigned to Fuliang Town, Fuliang County.
On November 16, 1994, Jingcheng township was abolished and Jingcheng Town was established.
In 2000, the district had jurisdiction over one street, two towns and three townships. According to the fifth census, the total population of the region is 139221, including 26635 taibaiyuan street, 45638 Jingcheng Town, 32929 Nianyushan Town, 16975 Lvmeng Township, 13208 Liyang Township and 3836 Hetang township
On August 8, 2002, the west suburb sub district office of Zhushan district was put under the jurisdiction of Changjiang District, and the taibaiyuan sub district office of Changjiang district was put under the jurisdiction of Zhushan district
By the end of 2004, the district had jurisdiction over 1 Street, 2 towns and 3 townships: taibaiyuan street, Jingcheng Town, Nianyushan Town, Lvmeng Township, Liyang Township and Hetang township.
In 2014, the Jiangxi provincial government has approved the adjustment of some administrative divisions in Jingdezhen. In 2012, the total agricultural output value reached 440 million yuan, up 15% year on year. Characteristic agriculture has begun to take shape. There are more than 80 agricultural industrialization organizations, with an output value of 330 million yuan and more than 2000 farmers. The "one large and four small" afforestation project was vigorously promoted, with 16.25 million yuan of construction funds from the higher authorities and more than 50 million yuan of social funds attracted, and the afforestation area of 7100 Mu completed.
