Anyi County, belonging to Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province, is located in the northwest of Jiangxi Province. Historical evolution
During the spring and Autumn period and the Warring States period, Wuning, Xiushui, Tonggu, Yongxiu and Fengxin were called AI, which belonged to Wu, Yue and Chu.
In the 24th year of the first emperor of Qin Dynasty (223 BC), Qin destroyed Chu and belonged to Qin. Until the unification of Qin, China was divided into 36 counties, which belonged to Jiujiang county.

Sui kaihuang nine years (589), and Yongxiu, Yuning, Xinwu, AI four counties into Jianchang County, is Hongzhou. Anyi was the territory of Jianchang County; during the reign of emperor Yang, the Prefecture was abandoned and Jianchang County was Yuzhang county.
In the early Tang Dynasty, the county was changed to a state, and Anyi belonged to Nanchang state; in the fifth year of Wude (622), Yongxiu county was restored, and Jianchang was established as Long'an county (in the territory of jin'anyi, the old city of Long'an was in Wuxi village, Xinmin Township, 15km north of jin'anyi); in the eighth year of Wude (625), Hongzhou was established.
In 982, Anyi belonged to the Nankang army.
In the first year of Yuanzhen (1295), Jianchang County was promoted to a state, and Anyi belonged to Nankang road; in August 1361, Nankang road was changed to Xining road; in 1362, it was changed to Nankang mansion.
In the second year of Hongwu (1369) of Ming Dynasty, Jianchang was demoted to a county and still belonged to Nankang Prefecture; in the 13th year of Zhengde (1518), Anyi, Nanchang, Bulin, konghe and Yiren townships of Jianchang County were set up and named Anyi County after Nanyi township.
In the Qing Dynasty, Anyi still belonged to Nankang Prefecture.
