landforms
The terrain of Baihe county is high in the South and low in the north. Mountains and ditches alternate with each other. There is no 100 mu flat land. Hanjiang River crosses from west to East in the north of the county, and Lengshui River and Baishi river flow into Hanjiang River from southwest to northeast. In the east of the county, Baihe County, a county bordering on the lower Han River, is the lowest, with an altitude of only 170 meters; in the south, wulongjian, in the middle of Jieling, is 1901 meters above sea level, ranking first among all mountains. Because the terrain of Baihe county is high in the South and low in the north, with an altitude of 1731 meters, there is a great difference in altitude. The seasonal difference between Gefeng, Songjia, Shuanghe, Sixin, Nancha, Jiahe and Shunshui in the east of the county and the coastal area of Hanjiang River is about 10 days. That is to say, the time of spring and summer in Zhongshan area is about 10 days shorter than that in low mountain valley area, and the time of autumn and winter is about 10 days longer. The vertical difference of air temperature and the difference of Yin Yang slope are also very obvious. At the same latitude and longitude point, at the same time, there is a difference of 5-9 ℃. If snow is accumulated at the same time, the sunny slope will melt at sunrise, and the shady slope will not melt for several days or even more than ten days. In winter, the sun rises on sunny slopes, but it is difficult to sit in silence on shady slopes. People in Baihe County summed up the regional differences in climate, saying, "high one Zhang, different, yin and Yang slope, much worse.".
