Engineering University of the Chinese people's armed police force, formerly known as Engineering College of the Chinese people's armed police force. This is the base for the armed police forces to cultivate "modern police officers who are political, technical, managerial, commanding, innovative and practical, loyal to the party and the people" and the center for scientific research. It covers an area of 560 mu, with a construction area of 200000 square meters. The Academy, formerly known as the Technical College of the Chinese people's armed police force, was established in 1983 with the approval of the State Council and the Central Military Commission. After three times of system and task adjustment, it has developed into a comprehensive military academy for training internal defense command, political work, logistics management and professional and technical police officers. In September 1998, with the approval of the State Council and the Central Military Commission, the system and tasks were adjusted again, and it was officially renamed the Engineering College of the Chinese people's armed police force.

The Party Central Committee, the State Council and the Central Military Commission are very concerned about the construction of the college. In June 1993, Comrade Jiang Zemin, general secretary of the CPC Central Committee, wrote an inscription for the Academy: "be loyal to the party and the people, and cultivate modern police officers.". In 1998, General Secretary Jiang happily wrote the name of "armed police Engineering College".

Under the correct leadership of the Party committee of the armed police headquarters, the staff of the Academy hold high the great banner of Deng Xiaoping theory, take the inscription of General Secretary Jiang as the school motto, comprehensively deepen the teaching reform, vigorously carry out quality education, constantly study and explore the educational characteristics and laws of the armed police academy, and further establish the school running idea of "comprehensive training, comprehensive development and comprehensive excellence", which makes the academy a young military academy The government is full of hope.

Today, the academy is the only unit authorized to confer master's and bachelor's degrees in the armed police force. It has a scientific research department, a foundation department, a communication engineering department, an electronic technology department, a military economy department, an ordnance transportation department, a construction engineering department, and an advanced education department. It has 17 majors, 40 student teams, 35 teaching and research sections, and two editorial departments of academic journals. The college has gradually established a strong and reasonably structured teaching staff, including 158 professors and associate professors, 203 lecturers, 2 postdoctors, 21 doctors and 164 masters. They adhere to the educational policy of "Three Orientations", construct a new teaching system, implement open school running, lead scientific research by teaching, promote teaching by scientific research, and continuously improve the teaching quality and scientific research level -- the college has been rated as the "advanced unit of political theory teaching" by the general Political Department of the PLA; in the national CET-4, the passing rate of the college ranks among the first in Shaanxi universities for successive years In the mathematical model competition of Shaanxi colleges and universities, the college won the first prize of the group; in the national public security and provincial college system Sanda, sports competition, the college has also achieved excellent results for many times. Over the past 20 years, the college has provided more than 9000 graduates, 12000 correspondence students, 600 rotation trainers and regimental cadres, and 5400 other cadres. At the same time, the Institute has published more than 140 monographs and translations, published more than 2800 academic papers at home and abroad, completed more than 180 scientific research projects, of which 116 have passed the provincial and ministerial level appraisal, 82 have won the military or provincial science and technology progress award, 28 have won the national patent, and one has won the National Development Award, which has played an important role in strengthening the military through science and technology.

The college vigorously strengthens the construction of teaching facilities and the guarantee of life services, creating a good environment for the students' study, training and life. The library has a collection of more than 350000 books, and has now built an information network system. On the network, you can read the library information through the computer without leaving home. The teaching and research departments actively promote modern multimedia teaching methods, and the teaching effect is refreshing. Aiming at the advanced level at home and abroad, we have built audio-visual teaching center, computer network center, command automation training center, foreign language speech room and 20 basic teaching laboratories. This year, the headquarters has invested another 1.6 million yuan to build two key laboratories of mobile communication network and information security, providing powerful conditions for modern teaching. The large-scale military stadium, advanced shooting range and swimming pool provide an ideal place for training and sports.
