Zhengzhou Chenggong University of Finance and economics is a full-time undergraduate university founded in 2004 by Dr. Wang Guangya, a famous Taiwan educator from Gongyi, in order to give back to Sangzi and contribute to the educational cause of his hometown. The predecessor of the college is an independent college built in cooperation with Henan University of finance, economics and law; in March 2012, it was approved by the Ministry of education to be an independent undergraduate college.
