Binzhou vocational college is a full-time ordinary college established in July 2001 with the approval of Shandong Provincial People's government and the merger of Binzhou agricultural school, health school, industrial school, economic school and Binzhou Institute of Agricultural Sciences. It is located in Binzhou, the central city of the Yellow River Delta on the coast of the Bohai sea.

The college covers an area of 3549.71 mu, with a building area of 803500 square meters, a total asset of 1.78 billion yuan, a total value of 150 million yuan in teaching and equipment, and a library collection of 1.84 million books. The college has 949 staff, 870 in-service staff and 668 full-time teachers, including 35 professors, 222 associate professors, 11 doctors, 271 masters, 1 young and middle-aged expert with outstanding contribution from the state, 2 young and middle-aged experts with outstanding contribution from the province, 8 experts with special allowance from the government of the State Council, 5 famous teaching teachers from Shandong Province and 30 professional and technical personnel with outstanding contribution from Binzhou City. There are 13287 higher vocational students, 4567 secondary vocational students and 800 adult correspondence students.

The college has 12 secondary colleges including continuing education college, Bioengineering College, electrical engineering college, mechanical engineering college, textile and chemical engineering college, nursing college, medical college, accounting college, Business Administration College, information engineering college, architectural engineering college, ocean college, and 2 teaching departments of basic courses and social sciences.

41 majors are enrolled, covering science and engineering, agriculture, medicine, finance and economics, information science, architecture, art, navigation and other fields, involving 57 professional directions, forming a professional group adapting to the economic and social development of the Yellow River Delta.

In March 2005, it was identified as the backbone Demonstration Vocational College of Shandong Province by the Provincial Department of education. In November 2010, it was identified as the first batch of national backbone construction units of higher vocational colleges, and passed the acceptance in October 2013 with excellent grade. It has won the national advanced unit of vocational education, the national advanced collective of education system, and the outstanding contribution award of national skilled talents cultivation. It has been rated as the advanced collective of Vocational Education in Shandong Province, the provincial civilized unit, the national greening model unit, the charming campus of National Higher Vocational Colleges, the advanced unit of health in Shandong Province, and the model school of school management according to law in Shandong Province. The first public training base of Vocational Education in Shandong Province has been built.

1、 We should give priority to the development of connotation. Three national excellent courses, three national excellent resource sharing courses, 64 provincial excellent courses, two key specialties supported by the Ministry of education and the Ministry of finance, seven construction specialties approved by the Ministry of education, three provincial main specialties, eight characteristic specialty spots of provincial universities, one experimental training base supported by the state finance, and eight provincial teaching teams will be constructed. It has won 3 second prizes of national teaching achievement award, 3 first national practical teaching design awards, 4 first prizes of provincial university teaching achievement award, 9 second prizes, 4 third prizes, and 3 provincial university experimental teaching and experimental technology achievement awards.

2、 The implementation of open education. The college adheres to the road of opening to the outside world and carries out joint education through school enterprise cooperation, school school cooperation, government school cooperation and other forms. It has formed a stable cooperative relationship with the government, large enterprises and schools in the Yellow River Delta region. Approved by the Ministry of education, it took the lead in setting up the Vocational Training Committee of colleges and universities and the school enterprise cooperation committee of Binzhou City. More than 120 enterprises and institutions became the governing units, and 602 enterprises of regional pillar industries and characteristic industries served as the member units. It has established long-term and stable internship and employment cooperation relations with more than 700 enterprises and institutions, cooperated with more than 300 well-known enterprises such as Haier Group, Weiqiao venture, Binhua group, Wanda Group, and 36 famous universities at home and abroad such as Tsinghua University and Korea Art University; With the Department of ocean and fisheries, Binzhou Vocational College "ocean College" was built, and with cooperative enterprises, Wanda college, Huawei information and network technology college, Lvdu Bioengineering College and other secondary colleges were built.

3、 Serve regional economic and social development. Taking social service as an important way to open school, the college has successively implemented two plans: serving "two districts" and serving Binzhou's "transfer, transfer and innovation" action, which were forwarded to the whole city by the municipal Party committee and the municipal government as official documents; Relying on 18 training qualifications, such as the continuing education base for professional and technical personnel of enterprises in Shandong Province and the provincial modern agricultural technology training base in Shandong Province, we actively carry out the skill improvement of enterprise employees, complete more than 60000 social training person times every year, and earn 13 million yuan. Adhere to the scientific and technological research and development idea of "from the enterprise, to the enterprise", and provide enterprises with urgently needed key technologies. It has been approved 10 scientific research projects at or above the provincial level, including one national 863 project, one National Natural Science Foundation, one provincial natural science foundation, one provincial doctor's fund, one blue yellow major theoretical project of the provincial development and Reform Commission, and one provincial agricultural transfer fund project. The new cotton variety "binzhimian" 1 was successfully selected, and the national soybean "binzhidou" 1 was approved by the national new crop variety. It has won one second prize of national science and technology progress award, one second prize and two third prizes of provincial science and technology progress award, one second prize of provincial technology invention award and 128 Municipal Science and technology progress awards; it has won 35 national patents; it has published more than 1600 academic papers, and the proportion of Chinese core journals is more than 30%, of which 38 papers have been included by EI and other four international retrieval. 4、 Highlight the characteristics of cultural education. Actively build a one hour cultural tour circle on campus, form a campus cultural pattern of "one axis, two mountains, three districts, four lakes and five parks", and win the second prize of excellent achievements of national campus culture construction; the college training square is determined to be the first public training base of Vocational Education in Shandong Province and Binzhou City. The construction of campus culture won the national outstanding achievement award of campus culture, and was rated as the national greening model unit and the charming campus of National Higher Vocational Colleges (30). To carry out hierarchical teaching, we are committed to creating two business cards of upgrading from junior college to undergraduate and skills competition, and build an overpass for students' growth. According to the working idea of "national competition has place, provincial competition for first place, municipal competition for all-round, and college competition normalization", every June and December is set up as skill competition month. 5、 Adhere to the brand building strategy. A modern vocational education studio has been set up to carry out vocational education policy research and publicity, and become the first university in China to illustrate the decision of the State Council on accelerating the development of modern vocational education. Entrusted by the Ministry of education, he undertook the design of the logo and publicity poster of the national vocational education activity week, and the production of the publicity video of the national teaching achievement award.
