Chongqing Three Gorges medical college is a full-time public medical and Health College approved by the Ministry of education, organized by Chongqing Municipal People's government and supervised by Chongqing Municipal Education Commission. The school is located in Wanzhou District of Chongqing, a thousand year old city and a beautiful bank of the Yangtze River. It was founded in 1951. After more than 60 years of tempering, it was upgraded from the former Wanzhou health school and Wanxian School of traditional Chinese medicine to a college in 2006. It is a municipal Demonstration College in Chongqing.
