Historical evolution
Weinan, as a county name, began in the second year of Ganlu (360 years) of Fujian in the former Qin Dynasty, and got its name from the county seat in the south of Weishui river.
Xia (about 21-16th century BC) is said to belong to Yongzhou, which is the activity area of Youhu clan. There are Rui state, Yu state and other vassal states. Shang Dynasty (about 16-11 century BC) was included in the core ruling area of the central dynasty, and the West was the land of Lirong.
The Western Zhou Dynasty (about 11th century B.C. - 771 B.C.) was the capital of that time. There were many vassal states in it, such as Korea and Rui in Hancheng and Zheng in Huazhou.
In the Eastern Zhou Dynasty (770-256 BC), in the spring and Autumn period, the eastern part belonged to Jin Dynasty and the western part belonged to Qin Dynasty. In the 10th year of emperor Xiaogong of Qin Dynasty (352 BC), Qin conquered tuyingrong and established Xiaying county to the north of Weihe River. The county was governed by Guxian village near Guxian town. The next year, it set up Zheng county, which governs the south of Weihe River. During the Warring States period, the eastern part of Weinan belonged to Wei first. It was dedicated to Qin in the fifth year of emperor Weixiang (314 BC), and governed the area south of Weihe River and east of Luohe River.
In Qin Dynasty (221-206 BC), Liyi was to the south of Weihe River, and Xiaying was to the north of Weihe River. In the 27th year of the first emperor of Qin Dynasty (220 BC), there was an internal history, which governed Liyi and Xiaying. At this time, there was also Lianshao County in the north. According to the records of Geography in Han Dynasty, it should be an internal history.
In the first year of emperor Gaozu of the Western Han Dynasty (206 BC), Xiang Yu marched into Guanzhong and granted Sima Xin the title of king of the frontier fortress. Liyi and Xiaying once belonged to them, and Lianshao also belonged to them. In the second year, Weinan and Heshang counties were set up in the Han Dynasty. Zheng and Liyi belong to Weinan county and Lianshao to Heshang county. Nine years ago (198 B.C.) two counties were withdrawn and the internal history was restored. In July 197 BC, Liyi was renamed Xinfeng. In the sixth year of Jianyuan (135 B.C.), the history of fennei is about. Xinfeng, Zheng and Xiaying belong to youneishi and Lianshao to zuoneshi.
