[plant morphology] Hedysarum nutans, also known as Hedysarum gracile, Gossypium hirsutum, Gossypium hirsutum and wild hemp.
Small shrubs, 1-2m high. Bark rough, branchlets thin, scattered, reddish brown, glabrous. Leaves opposite, membranous to papery, ovate or ovate elliptic to ovate lanceolate, 2.5-8.5 cm long and 1.5-2.5 (~ 4) cm wide, apex acuminate, base cuneate or suborbicular, dark green above, glabrous below, pale green below, powdery, veins raised below, conspicuous; petiole 0.1-0.2 cm long. Wild in open forest or shrub. It is distributed in Guangdong, Guangxi, Hunan, Fujian and Taiwan.
