Succulent perennial, ca. 15 cm tall. Leaves obliquely extended, arranged on both sides, linear oblong, 10-20 cm long, 0.5 cm wide, apex acuminate, base folded. Spikes 10 cm long, inserted on flat leaves; flowers small, white. Fruit small, ovoid. It blooms in summer.
Born on hillside rocks. It is distributed in Yunnan and other places.

[flavor] pungent, slightly bitter, warm.
[function indications] antiphlogistic, diuretic. Treatment of fracture, trauma, bleeding, leukorrhea.
[usage and dosage] oral: decoction, 3-5 yuan. For external use; tamping or grinding.
