The body is flat and flat, with a total length of about 35 cm. The middle plate is slightly wide, and the posterior end is slightly rounded. The snout is broad and short, and the front end is blunt. Dorsal fin and gluteal fin are absent; pectoral fin is slightly wider and posterior margin is long. The ventral fin is small with straight posterior margin. The tail is very long, about 1.5 times the width of the body disc, the front end is thick, and gradually presents a whip shape from the tail spine to the back. There are lateral folds on both sides of the front of the tail spine, and skin folds on the upper and lower sides of the rear.
