[plant morphology] Pyrrosia mollissima
Perennial herbs, 15-80 cm high. Rhizomes transverse, covered with black brown lanceolate scales. The leaves are distal, almost sessile, lanceolate to oblong lanceolate, 15-80 cm in length and 1-3 cm in width. The apex is round and acutely pointed, and the base is gradually narrowed. There are black spots on the top, sparsely stellate hairs or few glabrous, and two kinds of stellate hairs on the back. The lower part is thin to curly, grayish white, and the upper part is sparse, with few branches and strong, brown needle like; the leaves are thin, leathery, and the lateral veins are not obvious. The sporangia are distributed in a few rows and the leaves are complete, with 6-8 rows on each side of the midrib.
On raw stones and tree trunks. It is distributed in southwest and south of China, Zhejiang, Fujian and Taiwan.
