Small trees, 1-3 meters high, branchlets, petioles, veins, rachis and branches are all expanded pubescence. Leaflets 5-11, alternate, petiolate, falcate lanceolate, 4-7 cm long, 1.8-3 cm wide, apex pointed, base rounded or obtuse oblique, very asymmetric, margin sparsely dentate. Corymbose panicle terminal; flowers small and numerous, white; sepals 5, less than 1 mm long; petals 5, oblong, ca. 4 mm long, outside hairy; stamens 10, alternate in length, anthers broadly elliptic; ovary hairy, 5-locular, stigma capitate. Berry oval or obovate, about 1 cm long, yellow or scarlet when mature, with glandular spots on the surface; 1-2 seeds. The flowering period is from December to next April. The fruit period is from July to August.
Born in the wilderness, in the jungle. Distributed in Guangdong, Guangxi, Yunnan and other places.
