Plant morphology

Perennial herbs, 35-90 cm high. Xiaoji has downward white pubescence. The petiole is 3-4 mm long. The leaf is simple, opposite, broadly ovoid, 1-3 cm long, 7-25 mm wide, apex obtuse or slightly pointed, base broadly cuneate or truncate, with 3-5 coarse circular serrations on each edge, 5 lateral veins, pubescence and golden glands on both sides. The flowers are blue purple, solitary in leaf axils; the petiole is slender, with a pair of short linear bracteoles in the middle and upper parts; the calyx has a short tube, with pubescence and golden yellow glands outside, 5-lobed, lobes ovate; the Corolla is 4-lobed. The pistil is 1, the flower is slender and smooth, the tip is 2-lobed, the ovary is superior, densely pubescent. Capsule, hirsute. The flowering period is April.

Born in mountain and roadside. Distributed in Anhui, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Jiangxi and other places.
