Deciduous trees, up to 20 meters high. The bark is yellowish brown with gray spots and wrinkles. It splits longitudinally when it grows old. Drupe subglobose or ovoid, 8-10 mm long, hirsute; stipe short. The flowering period is from April to May. The fruit period is from August to October.
