Jiewen town

Jiewen Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Haicheng City, Anshan City, Liaoning Province, is located in the southeast of Haicheng City, bordering Liaoyang County and Xiuyan Manchu Autonomous County in the East, Gushan town and Ximu town in the South and West, and Mafeng town in the north, with an administrative area of 170.7 square kilometers.

In 1997, it was changed to Wenzhen. By the end of 2018, 23958 people had registered residence in the town. As of June 2020, Jiewen town has 15 administrative villages.

In 2011, the total financial revenue of Jiewen town was 18.5 million yuan. In 2018, Jiewen town had 12 industrial enterprises and 91 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

In 1985, Jiewen town had 17 administrative villages: Jiewen, laoniuzhai, duiziyu, duozhangyu, Heiyu, huahongyu, shanzui, dataogou, sanjiabao, dongdaling, Shitouzhai, sunjiakan, songjiabao, wangjiabao, liloubao, daligou, tazigou, and 106 villager groups.

In 1988, the three village committees of sunjiakan, Jiewen and laoniuzhai were changed into neighborhood committees.

In 2003, tazigou village was merged into Jiewen village and daligou village into liloubao village.

In 2005, Jiewen town had 15 village committees and 106 village groups.

By the end of 2011, Jiewen town had 15 administrative villages: Wangjia, duozhangyu, dongdaling, huahongyu, dataogou, Shitouzhai, songjiabao, Lilou, Jiewen, duiziyu, Heiyu, shanzui, sanjiabao, sunjiakan and laoniuzhai; 93 villager groups.
