Longchang town
Longchang town, belonging to Balinzuoqi, Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, is located in the southeast of Balinzuoqi. It is connected with Xianfeng Township and Shuangsheng town of aruhorqin banner in the East, baoribusu town of Balinyouqi in the south, chaganhadasumu in the West and Longchang town in the north. The administrative area of Longchang town is 834.01 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in Longchang town was 50542.
At the end of Qing Dynasty, Longchang belonged to Balin Right Banner. During the period of the Republic of China, it was divided into three districts, called xiaojieji. During the period of Manchukuo, it was the Dele District of Balinyouqi. In July 1952, it was transferred to Balinzuoqi and renamed Longchang district. In 1956, it was divided into three townships: Damiao, Longchang and maobaolige. In 1958, wulantaohai commune was established. In 1984, it was changed into Longchang town; in the same year, seven villages, such as banlashichao and xiaoerbadi, were set up to form maobaolige township. In 2005, Baiyin Oboo and maobaolige were merged into the two townships. As of June 2020, Longchang town has jurisdiction over 33 administrative villages. The people's government is stationed in Longchang village.

In the late Qing Dynasty, Longchang belonged to Balin Right Banner.
During the period of the Republic of China, it was divided into three districts in Lindong County, called xiaojieji.
