Guanshi town
Guanshi Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Hengnan County, Hengyang City, Hunan Province, is located in the east of Hengyang City, bordering Baogai town in the East, Jiangkou Town in the south, Xiangshi Township in the west, Huaqiao town and Hongshan Town in the north, with an administrative area of 79.13 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in the city was 49775.
In February 1984, it was changed to Yangwu township. In August of the same year, it was changed from township to Guanshi town. In May 1995, the district was withdrawn and the township was merged, and Huangzhu town and Qingrui village, Siyi village of Jieguan Township, Liushu village of Jiangkou Town and Guangfu village of shangbi Township were merged into Guanshi town. As of June 2020, Guanshi town has jurisdiction over 2 communities and 15 administrative villages.
In 2011, the total revenue of Guanshi town was 15.08 million yuan, the local tax was 3.5 million yuan, and the national tax was 800000 yuan. The "two taxes" (deed tax and cultivated land occupation tax) collected 102000 yuan. In 2018, there were 45 industrial enterprises in Guanshi Town, including 2 large-scale enterprises and 21 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
In October 1949, it belonged to the Ninth District of Hengyang County.
In July 1952, it belongs to the Sixth District of Hengnan County.
In 1953, Guanshi town was established.
In 1956, it was incorporated into Jiulong and Guanshi townships.
In 1958, it belonged to Jiangkou commune.
In 1961, Yangwu commune was established, belonging to Jiangkou district.
In February 1984, it was changed to Yangwu township. In August of the same year, it was changed from township to Guanshi town.
In May 1995, the district was withdrawn and the township was merged, and Huangzhu town and Qingrui village, Siyi village of Jieguan Township, Liushu village of Jiangkou Town and Guangfu village of shangbi Township were merged into Guanshi town.

As of June 2020, Guanshi town has 2 communities: Zhengjie community and Huangshi community, 15 administrative villages: Wuyi village, Tuquan village, Gongtang village, Huangzhu village, Liushu village, Xitou village, Yintian village, zutian village, Guanshi village, Meiyan village, pingtian village, Yangwu village, Xintang village, Botan village and panbi village, and the people's Government of Guanshi town is in Zhengjie.
