Yaoshan Street

Yaoshan street, subordinate to Tianqiao District, Jinan City, Shandong Province, was established in August 1993 with the approval of Jinan Municipal People's government. It was named after the area where bianque, a famous doctor in the spring and Autumn period, collected herbs. Yaoshan sub district office is located in the northwest of Jinan City, adjacent to the Yellow River in the north. It has the only industrial community within the second ring road of Jinan City. It is 25km, 3km and 2km away from Jinan International Airport, railway station and long-distance bus station, respectively. Its location advantage is very obvious.

The sub district office covers a total area of 19.24 square kilometers and has a population of 61504 (2010). The planned area is 8.24 square kilometers, of which the central investment zone covers an area of 4.3 square kilometers. The West and North Second Ring Road, Jingliu Road, wei12 Road extension line and Beijing Shanghai Railway run through the hinterland. The ring overpass of Jingfu, Beijing Shanghai, Jiqing, Jide and Jinan ring expressway is located in the area. The two Jinan floating bridges connect the north and south of the Yellow River, and the traffic is very convenient.

The infrastructure of Yaoshan district is improving day by day. Jinan International Container diversion center, 110kV substation (with a total capacity of 63000KVA), Yaoshan Telecom Branch (with the communication capacity of 150000 program-controlled exchanges), Jinan Yellow River water plant (with daily water supply of 200000 meters), Jinan No.2 purified water plant and its supporting financial, industrial and commercial, tax, medical and other service facilities are built. After years of development and construction, Yaoshan sub district office has initially formed two bright spots: central investment zone and Juban industrial zone. The central investment zone has realized "six links and one leveling", and a high-tech, export-oriented and modern industrial city is emerging. Yaoshan sub district office is located in the northwest of Tianqiao District, named after Yaoshan.
