Duxun town

Duxun town is a trade market town with a long history in the south coast of Zhangpu County, Fujian Province. It is adjacent to Xiamei town and Xiacai forest farm in the East, Shaxi Town in the west, Gulei town and duxun salt farm in the south, Liangshan Mountain range in the north, pantuo town and dananban town in the south, and coastal area in the southeast. The town has convenient transportation. Shen Hai Expressway and Zhangdong provincial highway pass through the town. Shugang highway, coastal channel and Gulei branch line of Xiamen Shenzhen railway pass through the whole town. The center of the town is 31 kilometers away from Zhangpu County and only 2 hours' drive away from Xiamen special zone and Shantou Special Zone.

Duxun town is a coastal town with large population, agriculture and commerce. It has 16 administrative villages including Wenqing, Fanyang and Zhengyang, and one neighborhood committee.

In 2017, the administrative area was 15547 hectares, with a permanent population of 101043.

Historical evolution

In Ming Dynasty, part of duxun belonged to nine capitals and part to ten capitals. Baojia was set up in the Qing Dynasty, and Zhengyang (now near the city), Tianbian, Yuanqian, Qiaotou and XISU in the east of duxun

Such as Bao belong to nine capitals, Xialu (now Fanyang) and Jiucheng (now Wenqing) belong to ten capitals. During the period of the Republic of China, it belonged to the second district (also known as the Southern District). Duxun town was established in the 29th year of the Republic of China. It only has jurisdiction over Nanmen, Xiajiao, dingjiao, Xiadong, Dingjie, Sangu, Daxue, Huicheng, xiaxiong, and the city's 10 boroughs. In the 33rd year of the Republic of China, Daitou and houyin townships were merged into duxun town. In the early days of new China, duxun was the seventh district, with jurisdiction over the town of duxun and 11 townships of houyao, shanshang, Chengcheng, Qiantian, Shanzai, jiucuo, Xiwei, lounei, Guoyang, roadside and Xiagao. In 1956, it was changed into duxun District, with jurisdiction over duxun town and 12 townships including Yuanqian, Shandong, taling, houyin, Gaoshan, xukan, Beiban, Guoyang, Yutou, Shaxi, Xiazhai and Beiqi. Duxun people's commune was established in October 1958, with jurisdiction such as duxun district. In 1961, Shaxi commune was set up in Gaoshan and west of Pengshan. Duxun commune has 16 brigades and a neighborhood committee, including Zhengyang, Luda, Huli, roadside, Linqian, Chengcheng, Fanyang, Wenqing, Lincang, Beiban, chengwai (later changed to near city), xukan, Yuanqian (later changed to yuanbian), houyin, houyao and Guoyang. In August 1984, the brigade was changed into a village, the commune into a township, and in May 1988, the township into a town.

Duxun town is located in the south coast of Zhangpu County, which is the hinterland of Gulei port area. It is adjacent to Xiamei town and Xiacai forest farm in the East, Shaxi Town in the west, Gulei town and duxun salt farm in the south, pantuo town and dananban town in the north, and coastal in the southeast. The transportation of the town is convenient. Shenyang Haikou Expressway and Zhangdong provincial highway pass through the town. The port dredging highway, coastal channel and Gulei branch line of Xiamen Shenzhen railway under planning and construction pass through the whole town. The center of the town is 31 kilometers away from Zhangpu County and only 2 hours' drive away from Xiamen special zone and Shantou special zone.

infrastructure

Zhangdong line, a provincial highway, traverses the town. Asphalt pavement was laid in 1994. In 2001, cement concrete pavement began to be laid one after another. County Road Dugu line was opened in February 1956, and asphalt pavement was laid in 1994. Du Gu line is 8 km long in duxun town. Rural roads extend in all directions. Zhangzhao Expressway passes through the town, and an interchange is set up in the town.

The new Dugu line, which started on September 9, 2002, starts from the expressway interchange, passes through duxunyuanbian, houyao, Huli and Beiban along the east side of Gulei Peninsula and ends at the south end of the peninsula. The new Dugu line is a class II Highway with subgrade width of 23 meters and pavement width of 15 meters. The project was completed and opened to traffic in 2003. Now it is renamed Shugang highway. The total length of the project is 23 km, with a total investment of over 1.2 billion yuan, of which the duxun section is 9 km long. After reconstruction, the width of the road will reach 100 meters, which is nearly five times of that before. The 60 meter wide road will be paved with modified asphalt. As an important supporting project of Gulei petrochemical industry, the widened and reconstructed Shugang highway will be changed from the original two lane ordinary highway into a two-way six lane high-grade highway, so as to better realize the interchange of Gulei Development Zone with the national, provincial and county road transportation network, so as to give full play to the freight collection and distribution function of Gulei port. In addition, the completed Gulei Shugang highway will also complete the laying of drinking water and water outlet pipelines, which will not only meet the water demand of Gulei petrochemical project area, but also thoroughly solve the drinking water problems of duxun Town, Xiamei town and Longgang community of Gulei new port city.

There is a water bureau. There are 6000 kW substations and 1500 kW hydropower stations. There is a water supply plant with a daily water supply of 30000 tons and a water supply plant with a daily water supply of 200000 tons.

Duxun hospital has been renamed as Gulei port hospital. The comprehensive building project started construction on December 23, 2014. The project is designed according to the standard of second class a hospital, with a total land area of 22.7 Mu and a building area of 12000 square meters. It is a comprehensive building integrating outpatient, medical technology department and inpatient department, with 200 beds. It is expected to be put into use by the end of 2016. After the completion of the project, it will effectively alleviate the difficulty of seeing a doctor for 200000 people in Gulei port area, and provide better medical emergency guarantee for the construction of Gulei development zone.

Zhangpu No.4 Middle School (Wanzhong) is located in the town, with 2 junior middle schools and 16 primary schools.

Zhangpu NO.4 middle school has a campus area of 82671 square meters, a building area of 16180 square meters, 44 classes, 1645 students and 162 teachers.

Economic overview

There are 43900 mu of cultivated land, more than 30000 mu of mountainous land and 14000 mu of shallow sea beach. After development, it has formed four production bases: 1) ten thousand Mu "ton grain field" production base. ② Ten thousand mu fruit production base. ③ Ten thousand mu vegetable production base. ④ Ten thousand mu aquaculture base.

In order to speed up the process of agricultural modernization, the construction of duxun area, a 10000 mu modern demonstration park in Shaxi duxun area, has been completed as planned in 2001. We invested in the construction of 9 tractor roads, 10.1km in length, and 5 drainage and irrigation canals, 3.17km in total. 16000 mu of high-quality rice will be planted. Among the ten thousand mu fruits, 2000 mu of high-quality fruits are newly developed, and 1000 mu of high-quality longan are grafted. Adjust the structure of shrimp pond culture to 2000 mu. The area of edible fungi is 100000 square meters, the area of flowers is 150 mu, and the annual vegetable production area is nearly 40000 mu.

In 2001, the total agricultural output value of the town was 90.1 million yuan, the land tax revenue was 5.66 million yuan, and the per capita net income of farmers was 3486 yuan. It is the business center in the south of Zhangpu. There are many shops in the market and the market is prosperous.

In 2011, the total value of agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry and fishery in the town was 191 million yuan, the total financial revenue was 13.2 million yuan, and the per capita net income of farmers was expected to reach 7050 yuan.

Granite is rich in mineral resources, and K-feldspar phenocryst rose stone is well-known.

There are Wenqing, Jincheng and Luda industrial parks in the town, and 12 private and "three capital" industrial enterprises such as frozen food factory and Cannery have entered the industrial park, which has been completed and put into operation. In 2001, an industrial park was set up at the interchange of expressways.
