Dezhuo Town, belonging to Hezhang County, Bijie City, Guizhou Province, is located in the west of Hezhang County. It is adjacent to Keke Yi and Miao Township and Fuchu Yi and Miao Township in the East, tujie town in Weining Yi and Hui Miao Autonomous County in the south, Longjie Township and kuixiang Township in Yiliang County of Zhaotong City in Yunnan Province in the west, and Hezhen Yi and Miao Township in the north, with an administrative area of 115.24 square kilometers.
In song, yuan and Ming Dynasties, it belonged to the Department of wusawei (now Weining); in 1984, it was changed into dezhuo township; in 1991, dezhuo, Desheng and fengjiaganhe were merged into dezhuo township. On November 9, 2017, the people's Government of Guizhou Province approved dezhuo to withdraw the township and establish a town. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population of de Zhuo town was 28065. As of June 2020, dezhuo town has jurisdiction over 1 community and 13 administrative villages, and the town people's government is located in dezhuo community.

History of construction
Song, yuan, Ming, belong to the Department of wusawei (now Weining).
In the Qing Dynasty, it was managed by Weining Prefecture, Weining Prefecture and Weining County.
During the period of the Republic of China, Hezhang County was divided into two counties.
In 1950, jiandezhuo township was established.
In 1951, after the establishment of HengDi District Office, it belonged to HengDi district office.
In 1958, dezhuo township was transformed into a commune.
In 1984, it was changed to dezhuo township.
In 1991, dezhuo Township, Desheng Township and fengjiaganhe Township were merged into dezhuo township.

The highest point is located in hetaopingbaobao of Taoping formation in Shani village, with an altitude of 2418m; the lowest point is located in Yuke formation in Luyuan village, with an altitude of 1632m, with an average altitude of 2025 M.

The river course in dezhuo town is 22 kilometers long, and the drainage area is 40000 square kilometers. Yuanjiao gully originates from chenjiabaogou and huamiaozhai gully in Shengying village, flows through 8 villager groups in yuanjiao village and flows into Tuoluo River, with a total length of 6 km. Tuoluo River (main stream of Baini River) originates from Caohai at the foot of Xiliang mountain and flows from Tianba village to Changlu village of Yiliang Longjie Township and Jinsha River.
