Jiangbeicheng Street

Jiangbeicheng street, belonging to Jiangbei District of Chongqing, is located in the south of Jiangbei District. It faces tanzishi street in Nan'an District in the East, Yuzhong District in the south, Wulidian street in the West and Cuntan street in the north, with a total area of 1.96 square kilometers.

In Qin Dynasty, jiangbeicheng Street belonged to Jiangzhou County, Bajun County; in July 1966, it was renamed jiangbeicheng street from mitingzi street. In 2011, the total population of jiangbeicheng street was 2632. As of June 2020, jiangbeicheng street has two communities under its jurisdiction, and the sub district office is located in qinghaiyuan, shanggelin community, Wulidian street.

In 2011, the total revenue of jiangbeicheng street was 68.16 million yuan, an increase of 5.8% over 2010.

History of construction

In Qin Dynasty, it belonged to Jiangzhou county.

During the Eastern Han Dynasty, Beifu city was built in the territory.

During the Northern Zhou Dynasty, it was ruled by Jiangzhou county.

Ming Dynasty, for Baxian Jiangbei town resident.

In 1753, it belonged to Baxian County; in 1754, it was under the direct control of Chongqing government, and there were offices in abandoned towns.

In the second year of the Republic of China (1913), Jiangbei hall was changed to Jiangbei County, and the county government was still in Jiangbei City. In 1933, it was transferred to Chongqing. In January 1935, the Fifth District was set up, and the district office was still in Jiangbei City. In May 1939, it belonged to the ninth district.

In May and June 1953, there were two streets, tirentang and mitingzi.

In February 1954, Muguan street was set up.

From February 1957 to August 15, 1958, Muguan street, tirentang street and mitingzi street were merged into mitingzi street.

In March 1960, mitingzi street was changed into mitingzi City commune.

In July 1962, mitingzi City commune was restored to mitingzi street.

In July 1966, mitingzi street was renamed jiangbeicheng street.

In 1996, jiangbeicheng street had 23 communities under its jurisdiction, including Huangpo village, fangshengchi, yongpingmen, Shangheng street, Zhongshan forest, Penghua street, yuejiajing, maojiashan, Chaoyin temple, shuishikou, bajiaoyuan, Xie shanpo, Jinchanggou, sandongqiao, huichuanmen, jiangbeizheng street, Wenchang street, baodingmen, Xiaheng street, Qinjian Road, Jinsha Street, juxianyan, Huoju street.

In 2006, jiangbeicheng Street governed six communities, namely, sandongqiao, Yuejiagou, Zhongshan forest, yongpingmen, baodingmen and Wenchang street.
