Tangdian Street

Tangdian street is located in Xinyi City, Jiangsu Province. In 2013, with the approval of the provincial government, Tangdian town was abolished in Xinyi City. Tangdian Street office was set up in Tangdian, Houtan, Duhu, Longhe, Dongling five neighborhood committee areas and Shuangshan, Bahu, Shangying, Xuli four village committee areas.

Tangdian street is adjacent to Xinyi City in the north, Gangtou town in the west, Qipan town and Malingshan town in the south, Shiji Town, Gaoliu town and Beigou town in the East. The neighborhood office is 7 km away from the center of Xinyi City. Longhai railway, Xinchang railway and national highway 205 pass by in the north of the neighborhood. Provincial highway 249 runs through the north and south of the neighborhood. Xinyi entrance and exit of XuLian expressway is in Houtan village. Shuhe River and Xinmo river flow from north to south in the neighborhood.

Historical evolution

Xinyi City governs the township. Xinan district was established in 1949, Tangdian district was established in 1952, Tangdian township was changed in 1957, Hongqi commune was established in 1958, Tangdian commune was established in 1959, and Tangdian township was restored in 1983. It is located in the middle of the city, 6 km away from the city and Longhai railway.

It covers an area of 60 square kilometers and has a population of 46828 (2010). Suxin, Tangqi, Tanggang, Mochong highway transit. It has 16 village committees, including Houtan, Qiantan, Suying, Tangdian, Shanqian, Duhu, Zhonghe, poqiao, Longhe, Shuangcheng, li Liu, Machang, Wanghu, Yaohu, Lizhuang and Shuangshan.
