Yining Town, subordinate to Xiushui County, Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province, is located in the middle of Xiushui county. It is the seat of Xiushui county Party committee and county government. It covers an area of 76.4 square kilometers and has jurisdiction over 11 communities and 8 administrative villages. By the end of 2018, there were more than 127000 permanent residents in Yining Town, including more than 116000 urban residents.

History of construction

Yining town has a long history, outstanding people, past dynasties are county (state) governance.

In Tang Dynasty, it was changzhouhai city.

In the 16th year of Zhenyuan reign of Dezong, Ningxian county was established here.

During the period of the Republic of China, Yining Prefecture was abolished, the county was renamed Xiushui, and Yining town was built.

In 2010, Yining town was divided into Yining town and ningzhou town.

hydrology

The area under the jurisdiction of Yining town mainly includes Xiuhe River (Xiushui urban section), the current of Ganjiang River. Xiuhe river is one of the five major water systems in Jiangxi Province, and also the largest river in Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province. It is an important part of Poyang Lake Basin and a large tributary of Poyang Lake. It is an important water conservation area in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River and a water intake area for production and living of residents along the river.

Yining town has a forest area of 14.2 Mu and a forest stock of 191000 cubic meters. There are more than ten kinds of proven mineral deposits in the territory, such as gold, tungsten, vanadium, stone coal, porcelain clay and limestone. Among them, the content of stone coal is 1.2 billion tons, the content of limestone is 5.6 billion tons, and the output of porcelain clay is 11 million tons.

History and culture

Yining town has a long history and outstanding people. In the Tang Dynasty, it was changzhouhai city. In the 16th year of Zhenyuan, Dezong established Fenning County here. During the period of the Republic of China, Yining Prefecture was abolished and the county was renamed Xiushui and Yining town was built. The ancient city of Yining has a beautiful and charming environment, with its winding river and clear water. It divides the ancient city into two parts, Jingyang mountain and Fenghuang mountain across the river.

WuJie square is located in the upper reaches of Xiuhe River in laobeimen of Xiushui County, covering an area of 14802 square meters. The theme sign is composed of five relief pillars carved from natural granite marble. The stone pillars are carved with the deeds of Chen Baozhen, Chen Sanli, Chen Hengke, Chen Yinke and Chen fenghuai, respectively. The square is built to commemorate the outstanding contributions of the five heroes.

Xiushui Memorial Hall of Autumn Harvest Uprising is located at 136 Fenghuangshan Road, Xiushui county. It is a special memorial hall of Autumn Harvest Uprising, covering an area of 3000 square meters. It was built in 1977. The logo was inscribed by he Changgong, former vice chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese people's Political Consultative Conference and one of the staff of the division headquarters, one of the flag designers of the workers' and peasants' Revolutionary Army during the Autumn Harvest Uprising. There are 330 cultural relics in the collection, including 7 national first-class cultural relics, 12 second-class cultural relics and 58 third-class cultural relics. Oceania park is located in the west of liangtang New District, Xiushui County, at the intersection of Xiuhe River and Shankou water, a tributary of Xiuhe River, with a total area of 1500 mu. Taking "one belt, one river and one island" as the landscape structure, it is composed of lakeside road landscape engineering, inland river and wetland park.

The wetland park has a green area of about 180000 square meters, 49 tree species and specifications, and about 4000 landscape trees. It has the theme landscape of Cryptomeria fortunei forest, Liquidambar formosana forest, Myrica rubra forest, palm forest, pine forest, sunshine lawn, green and so on. At the same time, it uses the undulating mountains and natural water to create a distinctive Wetland Park.

Majiazhou park is located on a small island by the Xiuhe River in the south of Xiushui County, covering an area of more than 430 mu. It is the largest park in Xiushui city.
