Torch town
Torch town is a township under the jurisdiction of Tongjiang County, Bazhong City, Sichuan Province. Weixin township was established in 1952, the commune was changed in 1958, and torch township was renamed in 1984. Located in the southwest of the county, 45 kilometers away from the county government. It covers an area of 59.67 square kilometers and has a population of 11424 (2017). The road is open. On May 25, 2020, Sichuan Provincial People's Government approved Bazhong City to adjust the administrative divisions of some towns and townships in Tongjiang County and Pingchang county (cfzm [2020] No. 4): Huilin township was cancelled and its administrative area was put under the jurisdiction of Huoju Town, and the people's Government of Huoju town was stationed at No. 65 Weixin Road, majiaping community.
