Nanhaoqian Town, belonging to Shangyi County, Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province, is located in the west of Shangyi County, adjacent to Badaogou town in the East, Daqingshan town in the south, Hongtuliang town in the west, Xinghe County in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region in the West and Qijia Township in the north. It is the resident of Shangyi County People's government, with a total area of 248.28 square kilometers.

In the 22nd year of the Republic of China (1933), Nanhaoqian town was the Fifth District of Zhangbei County; in May 1984, Nanhaoqian commune was divided into Nanhaoqian town and Nanhaoqian town; in February 1996, Nanhaoqian town was merged into Nanhaoqian town. History of construction

In 1933, it was Nanhaoqian Township, the Fifth District of Zhangbei County. In June 1944, Shangyi County Office moved from Daqinggou to Nanhaoqian. In 1946, it was renamed Nanhaoqian city.

In October 1949, it was changed into Chengguan District (the first district) of Nanhaoqian in Shangyi County.

In 1953, it was changed from Chengguan District to Nanhaoqian town.

In August 1956, Halagou township was merged into Nanhaoqian town.

In August 1958, it was called Nanhaoqian commune.

In May 1984, nanhaokeng commune was divided into nanhaokeng Township and nanhaokeng town.

In February 1996, Nanhaoqian township was merged into Nanhaoqian town.
