Beitai Township
Beitai Township, Quyang County, Baoding City, Hebei Province, is a mountainous township. It is located in the northwest of Quyang County, 35 kilometers away from the county in the south, langjiazhuang Township in the East, Lingshan Town in the southeast, Dangcheng town in the south, Pingyang town in Fuping County in the west, Taiyu Township in Fuping County in the northwest, and fanjiazhuang Township in the north. The maximum distance from east to west is 9 km, and the maximum distance from north to south is 13 km, with a total area of 62.21 square kilometers, including 1.12 square kilometers of water area. At the end of 2018, the total registered residence of the population was 13093.
Beitai township was named after Beitai village where the township government was originally stationed. In 1958, it belonged to Lingshan people's commune. In 1961, Beitai people's commune was established. In 1984, it was rebuilt into Beitai township. As of June 2020, Beitai township has jurisdiction over 17 administrative villages, and the Township People's government is located in huanglingwa village. There are provincial highway Helong highway and Baofu highway.
Beitai township is the hometown of jujube in Quyang County. In 2013, the total agricultural output value of Beitai township was 41.56 million yuan, the per capita net income of farmers was 850 yuan, and the total industrial output value was 62.41 million yuan. In 2018, there were 16 industrial enterprises and 7 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters in Beitai township.
Historical evolution
In 1958, it belonged to Lingshan people's commune.
In 1961, Beitai people's commune was established.
In 1984, it was rebuilt into Beitai Township, and the township government was stationed in Beitai village.
In 1991, the township government moved to huanglingwa village.

In addition, there are four natural villages, tudongzi, yuanzigou, jiangziyu and qiushugou.

Beitai township is located in the eastern foot of Taihang Mountain, with an average altitude of 435 meters. The highest point is the Northwest Mountain of Honggang (at the junction with Fuping County), with an altitude of 715 meters.

It is cold and dry in winter, hot and humid in summer, with four distinct seasons, slightly longer in winter and spring, and slightly shorter in summer and autumn.
