Minle town
Minle Town, located 37 kilometers southwest of Huayuan County, is named after Minle (Miao: minb niongx), the seat of the government. It is adjacent to paiwu Township in the southeast, Maoer Township in the East and northeast, Mushu Township in Songtao Miao Autonomous County of Guizhou Province across the river in the west, and Molao village in the northwest, with a total area of 103.6 square kilometers (2017). The Miao nationality accounts for more than 86%.

Minle is a typical mountainous and hilly landform, where mountains stretch, Chongling gully, underground contains rich mineral resources such as manganese, lead, zinc, iron, molybdenum and so on. Among them, the proven geological reserves of manganese ore is 29.698 million tons, ranking the first in the whole province and the second in the whole country. It is the largest manganese deposit in southern China, known as the "Oriental manganese capital". Mining and processing of mineral products has a history of more than 30 years, and the industrial economy is developed. There are 82 industrial enterprises, including 6 Enterprises above designated size. It is one of the three strong industrial townships and towns in Huayuan County and one of the strong industrial townships and towns in Xiangxi Prefecture.

Historical evolution
According to the old saying of Miao nationality, Minle and dongzha are the places where gekao stork and Geya stork, the descendants of tailie stork, live and develop respectively. Later, Gelao and Gemi families of the long family moved in and jointly developed the folk music. Since the Qing Dynasty, the Han people moved in with the army or business, and gradually became a place where the Miao and Han people lived together. Minle, located in the frontier of Hunan and Guizhou, has always been an important political, economic and military town. In ancient times, it belonged to Yelang state; in Tang Dynasty, it belonged to Suiyang and Dushang County; in Song Dynasty, it belonged to Fengxi; in Yuan Dynasty, it belonged to liulisheng Miao Yelang Ping. In the first year of Hongwu (1368) of Ming Dynasty, chongshanwei was set up in yelangping, which belongs to folk music. Hongwu 13 years (1398) belong to Liuli Miao land. Yongsuiting Xin'an township was established in 1732, and changleli village was established in 1732. During the reign of Tongzhi, it was under the jurisdiction of shangchangleli, including xiaoxinzhai, tukongzhai, zhenggangzhai, shuitianxi, tamprong, daoniu, Xiangshui, chunmu, helmets, Guoer, Niugan, Jiajia, dongzha, laoce, tampao, xiaotianjia, Tutun, Niujiao, Tongluo, Chayuan, huanglianchong, Datang, datu, Chua, gushao, loach, man-made, Majia, Laotian, shangchaoshui, maohao, shanmuyuan 41 villages including Molao, broom, chair slope, xiachaoshui, Yangjia, yangjiatun, Baiguoshu, huajiaoping, etc. in the second year of Jiaqing (1797), there were one Miao garrison, two thousand general staff, two general staff and three outsourcing staff. In the ninth year of the Republic of China (1920), shangwuli was changed to shangwuxiang, and the Baojia system was implemented. In 1935, yongsui county was divided into four districts, and Mino (folk music) was under the jurisdiction of two districts. In 1937, Shangwu township was changed to Mino Township, which has jurisdiction over Mino, Daping, Shuitian, Dougong, gushao, Tangjia, dongzha and Chaoshui. After 1950, the system was abolished and the government was set up. In September 1951, yongsui county set up the Sixth District, the district government set up Minle, and Minle township was under its jurisdiction. The fifth village of the Acropolis belongs to Minle township. In May 1956, the district government was replaced by an office. In June of the same year, Shuitian village, Dougong village and Mayan village were divided into two rivers to form Lianghe Township, Tangjia village was divided into Maoer Township, and the rest was established as Minle township. In 1958, Minle people's commune was established. In 1959, Minle people's Commune and Lianghe people's commune merged into Minhe people's commune. In 1961, the system was reduced and the Minle people's commune was restored. in 1984, chetongjian Minle township was changed to Minle Township and Minle town was built in October of the same year, which is still in use today. in 2007, shangchaoshui village and xiachaoshui village were merged into xiachaoshui village. Shangshuitian village and Xiangshui village are merged into Xiangshui village.

hydrographic features
The rivers are mainly Qingshui River, Bawu stream, Minle stream, Shuitian River and Chaoshui stream, among which Chaoshui stream has three tides a day, with pleasant scenery and great potential for tourism development.
Climate and soil
With mild climate and four distinct seasons, it belongs to subtropical monsoon climate. Most of the soil is acidic soil, which is suitable for the growth of middle late rice, corn, sweet potato, pepper, rape, peanut and other crops. At present, 8900 mu of farmland has been converted to forests, including 6800 mu of farmland, 2100 mu of barren hills, 2000 mu of Jinqiu pear base and 1000 mu of high-quality chestnut base.
