Yaquehu Township

Yaquehu township is located in the northwest of Poyang County, Jiangxi Province, close to Poyang Lake, 37 kilometers away from Poyang town. The farm was founded by youdunjie commune before 1959. In 1960, it was jointly run by the county and the commune. In 1961, it became a state-owned yaquehu reclamation farm. At the beginning of its establishment, it was a provincial agricultural enterprise, and now it is under the county management. In June 1985, it was withdrawn from the farm to build a township, which is a unit of farm and township integration. The total area of the township is about 40 square kilometers, including chunqian, Yaque lake, Daniu lake, Dushan, aquatic products, Xiaan, gaojiawei, eight new village committees and one market town neighborhood committee, and the township government is located in chunqian.
