Longtan town
Longtan Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Xiuyan Manchu Autonomous County, Anshan City, Liaoning Province, is located in the southwest of Xiuyan Manchu Autonomous County. It is adjacent to Yangjiabao town in the southeast, Xindian town in the south, daheyan village, Xianrendong Town, Zhuanghe City, Dalian in the southwest, Kuangdonggou Town, Gaizhou City, Yingkou in the west, shihuiyao town in the northwest, Qianying town in the northeast, with an administrative area of 198.91 square kilometers.
Before liberation, it was called shifoya district; in 1997, the township was changed to Longtan town. By the end of 2018, the population of Longtan town registered residence was 16099. As of June 2020, Longtan town has eight administrative villages.
In 2011, the total financial revenue of Longtan town was 5.4 million yuan, an increase of 10.2% over the previous year. The per capita net income of farmers is 8000 yuan. In 2018, there were 17 industrial enterprises in Longtan Town, including one above scale and 42 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
Before liberation, it was called shifoya district.
After liberation, it was called Longtan commune, and Qianying and Xindian were designated as Longtan commune and Longtan Township.
In 1997, the township changed into a town, called Longtan town.

By the end of 2011, Longtan town had eight administrative villages: Luquan, lijiu, Xinxin, Longtan, Mifeng, dafangfang, Zhangbao and Xiangrong, with 99 villager groups.
