Xuetian Town, belonging to Nehe City, Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province, is located in the northwest of Nehe city and the East Bank of Nenjiang River. It borders Laolai town in the East, erkeqian town in the south, xivartu town of molida wadagan'er Autonomous Banner of Inner Mongolia autonomous region across Nenjiang River in the west, and ilaha town of Nenjiang County in the north. It is 23 kilometers away from Nehe City, with a total administrative area of 445.66 square kilometers.

In 2019, Xuetian town governs 15 administrative villages. The people's government is stationed in Guoxing village.

History of construction
Qing Guangxu 26 years (1900), the old bureau.
In 1914, it was named Xuetian Bureau; in 1931, it belonged to the first district; in 1935, it set up Xuetian branch of Nehe City Police Department; in 1939, it belonged to Dahe village; in 1946, it belonged to the third district.
In 1955, it was changed into Xuetian district.
In 1956, it was divided into four townships: Xuetian, Qinglong, Gongnong, Qinghe.
In 1958, Xuetian, Qinglong, Gongnong and Qinghe were merged into lighthouse commune.
In 1959, lighthouse commune was renamed Xuetian commune.
In 1961, Qing He commune was established.
In 1984, Xuetian commune was transformed into Xuetian township.
In February 1996, Xuetian township was changed into Xuetian town.
In December 2003, Qinghe Township merged into Tianzhen.
