Erdaojiang District Erdaojiang district is one of the municipal districts of Tonghua City, Jilin Province. Located in the center of Northeast Asia, it is located in the south of Jilin Province, at the foot of Changbai Mountain and in the middle reaches of Hunjiang River. Early history
In ancient times (about 20000-40000 years ago), human beings existed in Erdaojiang District of Tonghua. Neolithic Age (about 5-6 thousand years ago), as early as more than 6000 years ago, there were Neolithic ancient humans on both sides of Hunjiang River in Tonghua City, who were fishing, hunting, farming and breeding. With the development of history, the ancient people in Erdaojiang District of Tonghua gradually formed the place where the three major language families of Huaxia, Sushen and Jue lived after a long period of interaction.
Ownership of past dynasties
At the beginning of the Western Zhou Dynasty, Erdaojiang District of Tonghua was the southern boundary of Sushen. During the reign of Emperor Xuan, he granted Han marquis in the northern territory of Sushen, Yan and Haowu, and led the local people. Tonghua became the territory of Han Hou. After the loss of Han Hou, he was merged into the Hou state ruled by "Jizi Korea" established by Jizi, the royal family of Shang Dynasty. At the beginning of the Qin Dynasty (221-206 BC), Erdaojiang District of Tonghua belonged to Liaodong county. After the unification of China by the Qin Dynasty, yanrenweiman fled to the west of Changbai Mountain to collect the refugees from the states of Yan, Qi and Zhao to establish "Wei's Korea". Erdaojiang District of Tonghua belonged to its jurisdiction. In the third year of Yuanfeng of Emperor Wu (108 BC), xuantu county was established in Eastern Liaoning Province to unify the three counties of Gaogouli, shangyintai and xigaima. In the sixth year of Zhongping (189 AD), Emperor Ling of the Eastern Han Dynasty, Gongsun Kang, the governor of Liaodong, became the Marquis of Liaodong and led Liaodong and xuantu. In 209 ad, Gongsun Kang attacked Koguryo and broke its city. Erdaojiang District in Tonghua was controlled by Gongsun's regime. in the Three Kingdoms period, in the first year of Huangchu (220 A.D.) of Emperor Wen of Wei, Gongsun Kangchen served in Wei Dynasty for about 50 years, and Tonghua Erdaojiang district was under its jurisdiction. In the first year of the Liao Dynasty (1115 AD), in order to restrain the Jin soldiers from going south, the Liao Dynasty attacked zhaosan city (the area of Shancheng town in today's Meihekou city) with 60000 troops.
