Yuhua District, located in the southeast of Shijiazhuang City, Yuhua District, Hebei Province, has a total area of 101.45 square kilometers. It is between 114 ° 29 ′ E and 38 ° 04 ′ n. Historical evolution

On December 26, 1947, Shimen city was renamed Shijiazhuang City, with eight districts. The fifth, sixth, seventh and eighth districts are suburbs.

On August 22, 1950, four suburban districts were merged into two districts, namely, the former five and eight districts were merged into the new five districts, and the former six and seven districts were merged into the new six districts.

On December 21, 1953, the new five districts and the new six districts were merged into suburbs (later renamed zhentou District).

In August 1958, Zhentou district was abolished.

On December 30, 1961, taking the Beijing Guangzhou railway as the boundary, two suburban areas were established. Huaidi, Fangcun, Nianlipu, Zhaiying, Songying, Liucun, Nancun and Zhaotong were under the jurisdiction of Chang'an District, and 69 villages were under the jurisdiction of Eastern suburban area. Liucun Township and Shilipu town in Zhengding County, Fangcun, Nanjiao, Nanwang, zhaobukou, Songcun, dongjingbi, xijingbi, Jiacun, Taishang, Weitong, Nanli, Nanwei village in Fangcun town in Luancheng County, Yudong, Yuhua Road, dongdajie three streets in Chang'an District, and Huaidi street, Suncun street and tajia two villages in the original suburb are under the jurisdiction of Yuhua District.

On September 21, 2001, Yuxing street was established.

In 2003, Suncun street was renamed Jiantong street.

In March 2007, Liucun township was officially abolished.

At the end of 2009, Songying town of Yuhua District was entrusted by Shijiazhuang high tech Zone.

In August 2013, Yuxiang street and Huanan street were established.

Shijiazhuang TV-tower

Shijiazhuang TV Tower is located in Shijiazhuang Century Park, across the road from Shijiazhuang radio and Television Center building.
