Jingle County jingle County, also known as Echeng, is under the jurisdiction of Xinzhou City, Shanxi Province. It is located in the Loess Plateau, the west of Xinzhou City and the northwest of Taiyuan city. It covers an area of 2036.6 square kilometers and governs 4 towns, 10 townships, 1 residential office and 381 administrative villages.
It is adjacent to Xinfu District and Yangqu in the East, Loufan and Gujiao in the south, Lanxian and Kelan in the west, Ningwu and Yuanping in the north. Taijia, Xinbao, Jingxing three high-speed across the county, xinhei line, ningbai line, Xinwu line, Kangbei line network distribution, railway has quiet railway operation, quiet railway construction started, after the completion of traffic, the south is connected with Taixing line, North and North with thin line, Shuohuang line.

Historical evolution
According to archaeological excavation, human activities existed in Jingle County as early as the Paleolithic age. Tang Yao, Xia and Shang were all in Jizhou.
Spring and autumn belong to Jin, Warring States to Zhao, Qin belongs to Taiyuan County Jinyang city. In the first year of Gaozu in the Western Han Dynasty (206 BC), the county was established, named Fenyang, belonging to Bingzhou Taiyuan county.
In 583, Kelan county was transferred to the old city of Sandui. In the early Tang Dynasty, it belonged to Hedong road. Wude four years (621), Zhiguan state, Kaiyuan twenty-nine years (741), waste state, county is Hedong Daotan state. Song Dynasty belonged to Hedong road. In 1070, Xianzhou was abolished, and later it was subordinate to Weizhou. In 1077, it was restored to Xianzhou, and in 1115, it was named Fenyuan county.
In the second year of Hongwu in the Ming Dynasty (1336), jingle county was restored to its original state, belonging to Taiyuan Prefecture.
