Qingcheng county belongs to Qingyang City, Gansu Province. It is located in the east of Gansu Province, in the middle and upper reaches of Malian River. It is adjacent to Heshui in the East, Pu River in the west, Zhenyuan County in the East, Xifeng District in the south, Huanxian and Huachi in the north. The geographical coordinates are 107 ° 16 ′ 32 ″ - 108 ° 05 ′ 49 ″ E and 35 ° 42 ′ 29 ″ - 36 ° 17 ′ 22 ″ n. It is about 70 km long from east to west and 56 km wide from north to south. The total land area is 2692.6 square kilometers. Qingcheng County governs 5 towns and 10 townships (in 2011), with 153 administrative villages and a total population of 320000 (in 2011).
In 2011, the GDP of Qingcheng County reached 6.53 billion yuan, an increase of 13.8% compared with that in 2010. According to the public security population, the per capita GDP reached 22782 yuan. Qingcheng county was the land of Yugong and Yongzhou in ancient times. It was one of the birthplaces of Chinese farming culture, and also an important part of Shaanxi Gansu Ningxia border region. In 1994, it was rated as a famous historical and cultural city in Gansu Province.
In March 2019, it was listed as the first batch of revolutionary cultural relics protection and utilization area sub County list. In February 2020, approved by the leading group of poverty alleviation in Gansu Province, Qingcheng County met the exit conditions of poverty-stricken counties and approved the exit.
Evolution of organizational system
Qingcheng County, its history can be traced back to 200000 years ago. According to the Paleolithic evidence unearthed in the 1920s, there were people slashing and burning on this land at that time, and it was one of the birthplaces of the Chinese nation.
In summer, the world was divided into nine states, and Qingcheng County belonged to Yongzhou. Meat porridge is the largest Rong Di tribe in the north. "In the last years of Buhuo, the government of Xiahou declined, leaving Jibu for business. Buhuo lost its official position and ran to Rongdi," which established the country in Beichen (now Qingcheng county).
In the early Shang Dynasty, there were many Rong Di tribes, which invaded each other constantly. In the later period, Zhou people went south to Qishan and moved to Chen (West of Xunyi County, Shaanxi Province). Qingcheng county was occupied by Hourong, who established yiqurong state. At the end of Shang Dynasty, there were several small clan states in the Jingshui River Basin, including Gongguo, Ruan (now Jingchuan), MISHU (now Lingtai), Peng, etc. Qingcheng county belongs to the ancient land of Peng state.
In the middle of the Western Zhou Dynasty, Jiman, King Mu of Zhou Dynasty, once toured chendi, an Wurong and Fangguo, including yiqurong, penglurong, wushirong, yuzhirong and Taiyuan Rong. Qingcheng county belongs to the state of yiqurong. Yiqurong state is also one of the earliest countries in Gansu Province.
During the spring and Autumn period and the Warring States period, the influence of yiqurong state was growing. It successively destroyed penglu, Taiyuan, Yuzhi and other countries. Its territory was close to Jingshui in the south, Hetao in the north, Kongtong in the West and Qiaoshan in the East. Yiqurong state was founded for more than 300 years. Yiqurong state has a high level of civilization, city buildings, cremation after death. He once fought against Qin for more than 500 years. In the early Eastern Zhou Dynasty, Qingcheng county was still under the jurisdiction of yiqurong state. In the 45th year of King Nan of Zhou Dynasty (270 BC), it went through nearly 200 years of war. In 266 B.C., King Zhaoxiang of Qin destroyed Yiqu and Qingcheng County entered the territory of Qin.
After the unification of the six states, the Qin Dynasty set up 36 counties. In the 26th year of the first emperor of Qin Dynasty (221 BC), Beidi county was set up. The county is located in Maling, Qingcheng county. It has jurisdiction over Fuping County, Wushi County, Jingyang County, Chaona County, Yiqu county and Niyang County, and Qingcheng county is Yiqu county.
The Western Han Dynasty (206 bc-25 AD) basically followed the establishment of prefectures and counties, and still set up Beidi County, which was under the jurisdiction of the History Department of Shuofang. In the third year of Gaodi (204 BC), Quxian county was changed to Yuzhi county. In the third year of the Yuan Dynasty (114 BC), counties were reorganized. Beidi county had jurisdiction over 19 counties (roads): Lingwu, Lian, Lingzhou, Fuping, Xuyan, Zhilu, guide, Guigu, Maling, fangqu, huihuo (Ansai), Yuzhi, WuJie, luepandao, yidaodao, Dayao, Niyang, Yiju and Chudao (Zhidao). At that time, in the northwest of Qingcheng County, Maling county was set up as the prefect of Beidi, which was divided into Yiqu county and Maling County; in today's Qingcheng Town, Yuzhi county was set up, and in the northeast of the county, Linjin temple was set up as guide county.
In the Eastern Han Dynasty (25-220), Beidi county was transferred to the Department of governor of Liangzhou. At the end of the year, Qiang Rong invaded and all counties were abolished.
During the Three Kingdoms period, the whole territory of Qingcheng county was occupied by Xiongnu Tu tribes (also known as Xiu Tu Hu), and the original counties were abolished. In 265, Qingcheng county was under the jurisdiction of the Western Jin Dynasty.
In the Sixteen States of the Eastern Jin Dynasty, Qingcheng county was the former Zhao, the latter Zhao, the former Qin, the latter Qin and Daxia. In the seventh year of Yonghe (351), the former Qin Dynasty destroyed the later Zhao Dynasty and established the country in Chang'an. Qingcheng County returned to the former Qin Dynasty and still replaced the government with the army. In the ninth year of the Taiyuan Dynasty (384), the later Qin army expelled the former Qin Garrison and set up the niyuan army in Qingcheng. In the 13th year of Yixi reign (417), heliansheng, the leader of the Tiefu tribe of Xiongnu, established Daxia state in Wancheng of Northern Shaanxi under the jurisdiction of Qingcheng county.
In the northern and Southern Dynasties, the state, county and county were established in the Northern Wei Dynasty. The northwest Prefecture was built in the county. Fuping County (belonging to the northwest Prefecture of Chenzhou) was established in PENGYUAN county. Qingcheng County governed the whole territory of Fuping County. In the Western Wei Dynasty, Shuozhou and Yunzhou were established. In the Northern Zhou Dynasty, northwest prefectures were set up.
In the early Sui Dynasty, prefectures and counties were abolished. Honghua county was set up in Qingcheng, and northwest Prefecture and Fuping County were abolished. Kaihuang 16 years (596 years), in today's Qingcheng Heshui County, is Honghua county. In the 18th year of kaihuang (598 AD), Honghua county was set up on the East Bank of Huanjiang River, 15 kilometers north of Jinqing Town, and Xianqing town was moved in the late Sui Dynasty, which belongs to Honghua county. In the first year of Daye (605), Hongde County, guide county and Luoyuan county were established, and Maling county was restored, which belonged to Honghua county. In 612, Qingyou was changed into Honghua county. In 618, Sanquan county was established in Tongchuan.
In the early Tang Dynasty, the establishment of prefectures and counties was carried out. Later, it was changed to Dao, prefectures and counties. In the first year of Wude (618), Honghua county was changed to Qingzhou. Hongde county was abandoned, fangqu county was established, and Sanquan county was changed into Tongchuan county. In the sixth year of Wude (623), the general manager's office was set up in Qingyang City, which was transferred to Honghua county. It was the same as Heshui County as Qingzhou County, and was divided into Heshui county. Now, Baima county was set up in xuanma Township, and Heshui county was changed into Hechuan county. In the seventh year of Wude (624), the general manager's office was changed into the governor's office. In the first year of Zhenguan (627), the governor's office was abandoned, and the whole country was divided into ten roads. Qingzhou belongs to guanneidao, and the governor's office of Qingzhou is set up in today's Qingcheng town. In the first year of Shenlong (705), Honghua county was transformed into Anhua County. In 722, Huaian County (now Huaian in Huachi) was set up 75 kilometers northeast of the county. In the first year of Tianbao (742), Qingzhou was changed into Anhua County and Baima County into Yanqing County. In the first year of Zhide (756), Anhua County was changed into Shunhua county. In the early Qianyuan period (758), the county was changed to Qingzhou and Huaian County was abolished.
In the Five Dynasties, the construction was changeable, but the administrative division was roughly the same as that of the Tang Dynasty.
In Houliang Dynasty, Qingzhou was changed into Wujing army and Maling county was abolished. Shunhua, Tongchuan, Yanqing and PENGYUAN still follow the old system.
In Zhuangzong period of later Tang Dynasty, Wu Jing army was changed to Qingzhou.

At the beginning of Jin Dynasty, the government was changed to an'guojun and an'anjiang. And Anhua into PENGYUAN county. In the second year of Huangtong (1142), Jingyuan road and Huanqing road were established in the Song Dynasty, and Qingyuan Road office was set up in the county.
It was the first time in the Yuan Dynasty that provincial organizations (including Gansu Province) were set up. Under the provincial organizations, such as Lu, Fu, Zhou and Xian were set up. Under the county organizations, such as Xiang, Du, Li and she were set up. In the Yuan Dynasty, Qingyang Prefecture was under the jurisdiction of gongchangdu Shuai Prefecture, Shaanxi Province, which was governed by Anhua (now Qingcheng town). In 1270, Anhua County was abandoned and PENGYUAN county was directly under the government.
In the Ming Dynasty, he was transferred to the province as the chief minister, and then set up the prefecture (Zhili prefecture) and county (prefecture). In the second year of Hongwu (1369), he restored Anhua County and set up the chief minister of Shaanxi Province in Zhili. In the ninth year of Hongwu (1376), Qingyang Prefecture was changed from the provincial governor of Shaanxi Province to the general secretary of Shaanxi Province, with jurisdiction over one prefecture (ningzhou) and four counties (Huan County, Anhua, Heshui and Zhenning).
In the Qing Dynasty, government and county were established along the Ming system. In February of the second year of Shunzhi (1645), ajige, the great general of Qing Dynasty, captured 44 cities of Qinlong. In June, Qingyang was under the jurisdiction of the Qing government. In the early Qing Dynasty, Qingyang Prefecture was still the chief minister of Shaanxi Province. In the fourth year of Kangxi (1665), Qingyang government was transferred to Gansu governor. In November of the same year, the counties in the Shaanxi Gansu border region were subordinate to the Soviet government of Shaanxi Gansu Province.

In 1940, the Shaanxi Gansu Ningxia border region government was established under the leadership of the Communist Party of China.
