Yuxian County belongs to Yangquan City, Shanxi Province. Historical evolution
In the Xia and Shang Dynasties, it is said that the world was divided into nine states. According to the regional division, Yu belongs to Jizhou.
In the early years of the Western Zhou Dynasty, the state governance was changed, and Yu belonged to Bingzhou. After the enfeoffment system, Yu belonged to Jin State. In the spring and Autumn period, Yu still belonged to the state of Jin.
