Fenggang county Fenggang county, a county under the jurisdiction of Zunyi City, Guizhou Province, is located in the northeast of Guizhou Province, bordering Sinan, Meitan, Wuchuan and other seven counties, with Dalou mountain in the north and Wujiang River in the south. It is a hilly area in the middle of Guizhou Province, with no cold in summer, no severe cold in winter, abundant rainfall and abundant heat. Fenggang county was established in 1601, which is the east gate of Zunyi, an old revolutionary base area. It is located at the south foot of Dalou mountain and the North Bank of Wujiang River. The natural and cultural landscapes in the county include qianyuzhi, a fossil terrestrial plant, "ancient military cave fort" in Manao mountain, "Yelang Gudian" carved on cliff in Ming Dynasty, "eternal Huiyou" in Zhonghua mountain, "Chahai Forest Park in Western China, Jiudaoguai ten mile long river, Wanfo gorge, folk Nuo opera, flower opera, etc. Fenggang county is the first batch of national agricultural sustainable development experimental demonstration area. On September 25, 2018, Guizhou Province agreed to withdraw 14 counties (districts) including Fenggang county from poverty-stricken counties. On October 22, 2018, it was selected into the list of pilot areas for the integrated development of rural primary, secondary and tertiary industries in 2018. In March 2019, it will be listed in the first batch of counties for the protection and utilization of revolutionary cultural relics. On July 29, 2020, it will be included in the National Health township (county) naming list of 2017-2019 cycle.
In 2018, Fenggang county achieved a GDP of 8.292 billion yuan, an increase of 9.8% and a decrease of 1.8 percentage points at comparable prices. By industry: the added value of the primary industry was 2.550 billion yuan, an increase of 6.9%; the added value of the secondary industry was 2.078 billion yuan, an increase of 4.5%; the added value of the tertiary industry was 3.663 billion yuan, an increase of 15.0%. Historical evolution
Before Fenggang was established as a county, it belonged to Chu during the Warring States period; Qin belonged to Qianzhong County; Han belonged to Shu; Jin belonged to Yelang; at the beginning of Sui Dynasty, Mingyang county was established as Mingyang county. Daye eight years (612), do not set Ningyi County, also belongs to Mingyang county. In the 12th year of Daye (616), Suiyang County was also set up as Mingyang county.
In the early Tang Dynasty, Mingyang county was abolished, and Ningyi and Suiyang counties belonged to Yizhou. At the end of the Tang Dynasty, it fell into "barbarian land".
Song Zhenghe seven years (1117), home Anyi first, belongs to Sizhou.
In the Yuan Dynasty, it was established as the Chief Secretary of Dabao Longquan (now the county seat), which was under the jurisdiction of Sizhou, and then changed to the Chief Secretary of longquanping.
In the seventh year of Hongwu in the Ming Dynasty (1274), Shiqian government added Longquan department. In the 12th year of Yongle (1414), the two xuanweisi in Sizhou and Sinan were abolished, and the two xuanweisi in Sinan were replaced by four prefectures. Longquan was still the Shiqian Prefecture. In April of the 29th year of Wanli (1601), it was renamed Longquan county.
In Qing Dynasty, it was still Longquan County, belonging to Shiqian Prefecture.
In the second year of the Republic of China (1913), after the establishment of the disused Prefecture, it was renamed Fengquan county. It was named after Longquan coming from the foot of Fenghuang mountain, belonging to Qiandong road in Guizhou Province. In 1923, Fengquan county was directly under Guizhou Province. In 1930, it was renamed Fenggang county. In 1937, it was subordinate to the fifth administrative supervision district of Guizhou.
In 1949, it belonged to Zunyi district.
In 1958, Fenggang county was withdrawn and merged into Meitan county.
In 1961, Fenggang county was restored to Zunyi.
In 1970, it belonged to Zunyi area.
Since 1997, Zunyi has remained unchanged.

The rivers in Fenggang county belong to the Wujiang River System in the Yangtze River Basin. Wujiang River flows into Sinan along the edge of nanqiping, Tianqiao, Tuhuang and other places in the county, with a length of 19 kilometers. It is the boundary river between Fenggang and Shiqian, Sinan across the river. In addition to Wujiang River, 315 tributaries converge into five main rivers, namely Hongdu River, Liuchi River, Fengwang River, Huitang River and pushui River, which are distributed throughout the county, forming a network system. The minerals in Fenggang county are mainly sedimentary type, sedimentary remolding type and secondary eluviation type. Coal, potassium bearing rock pyrite, silica, limestone, dolomite and uranium have been found in sedimentary type. The reserves of silica in Qiping and Dayan reach 1.28 million tons, accounting for 98%; the reserves of dolomite in Chahua reach more than 100000 tons, both of which are first-class standards; the reserves of uranium in the whole county are more than 1 million tons, of which the content of uranium in Heba is 0.228%, which has comprehensive mining value.
