In the Qin Dynasty, Guilin belonged to 36 counties. in the sixth year of Yuanding (111 BC), Shi'an county was set up, which belongs to the urban area, and Shi'an county belongs to Lingling County of Jingzhou. In the Eastern Han Dynasty, Shi'an county was changed into Shi'an Marquis state. In the first year of Wu Ganlu in the Three Kingdoms (265), Shi'an county was set up in the south of Lingling County, which was still under the jurisdiction of Jingzhou. in the Western Jin Dynasty, Shi'an county and its counties were changed to Guangzhou. in the Southern Dynasties, during the period of Liu Song, Shi'an county and its counties were changed to Xiangzhou; in the sixth year of Liang Tianjian (507), Guangzhou set up Guizhou in Cangwu and Yulin, and led the counties. In 590, Shi'an county was incorporated into Yangzhou and governed by Shi'an county. in Tang Dynasty, it was Guizhou with jurisdiction over Shi'an and other counties. In 757, Shian county was changed to Lingui county. After five dynasties and Ten Kingdoms and song, yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties, it is still called Lingui County, which is also the residence of Zhou, Lu, Fu, Zhongshu Province, Sansi and Dao. In 1133, Guizhou was promoted to Jingjiang Prefecture.
