Deqing County, belonging to Zhaoqing City, Guangdong Province, is located on the North Bank of the middle reaches of Xijiang River in the middle of central Guangdong Province. It is adjacent to Xijiang River in the south, and faces Yunan County and Yunan District of Yunfu City across the river. In the sixth year of Yuanding reign of Emperor Wu of Han Dynasty (111 BC), Duanxi county was set up, which is one of the 15 ancient counties of Qin and Han Dynasties in Guangdong Province. Jinkang county was established in the seventh year of Yonghe (451) of the Eastern Jin Dynasty, and Nankang Prefecture was established in the fifth year of Wude (622) of the Tang Dynasty. Before Qin Dynasty, Zhaoqing belonged to Baiyue. In the 33rd year of the first emperor of Qin Dynasty (214 BC), Qin pacified Baiyue and established Nanhai County, Guilin county and Xiangjun county. Today, part of Zhaoqing belongs to Guilin county and Nanhai county. In Qin Dynasty, Sihui county was established, and its jurisdiction included all or part of Sihui, Guangning, HUAIJI and other cities and counties.
Qin belongs to Nanhai county. The late Qin Dynasty belonged to the state of Nanyue.
In the sixth year of the reign of emperor Ding of the Han Dynasty (111 BC), Nanyue was destroyed and Duanxi county was set up. The county government was in today's Decheng Town, which was the beginning of the establishment of the county in Deqing. It was named after the county government as duanxikou. At that time, Duanxi County covered Deqing, Luoding, Yunnan, Yunfu, Xinyi and other counties, and belonged to Cangwu County of Jiaozhi. In the later Han Dynasty, it was still under the former system and belonged to Cangwu County of Jiaozhou in the eighth year of Jian'an (203).
In the fifth year of Wu Huangwu in the Three Kingdoms (226), Jiaozhou was divided into Jiaozhou and Guangzhou. Cangwu County belonged to Guangzhou, and Duanxi county was still subordinate to Cangwu county.
In the first year of Taikang (280), Duanxi county was divided into Duanxi and Yuanxi counties. Duanxi county government remains the same, and Yuanxi county government is located in Hongyuan, Yuecheng town (formerly known as Jiuxian Village). Then it analyzes that Duanxi county is located in duluo, Wucheng, Longxiang, Jinhua and other counties on the South Bank of Xijiang River. In the middle period of the song, yuan and Jia dynasties (about 440), Longxiang county was merged into Duanxi county. In the middle period of song and Ming Dynasties (about 460), Yuecheng, Binjiang and Shuo (Yue) cities were set up in Duanxi and Yuanxi counties. They all belong to Jinkang County of Guangzhou. County governance is located in Duanxi county (Lecheng County in Yuecheng, Binjiang County in Jiushi, Yuecheng County in Bozhi, Wenzhao County in Fengcun). In the Liang Dynasty, Yuanxi county and Binjiang county were abolished.
Sui kaihuang nine years (589), the abolition of Jin Kang Jun, home Duanzhou. Duanxi, Lecheng, Yuecheng and Wenzhao all belong to Duanzhou. In 592, Yuecheng and Wenzhao counties were abolished and merged into Lecheng county.

In 972, three counties, Jinkang (now Yunfu county), Yuecheng and Ducheng (now Yunnan county), entered Duanxi county. In the first year of Shaoxing in Song Dynasty (1131), Kangzhou was taken as the potential residence and the imperial edict was promoted to the government. It is named after Zhiqing by virtue, and changed to Deqing mansion, belonging to Guangnan East Road. The name of Deqing began from then on. The four leading counties of shideqing Prefecture are Duanxi, Longshui, FengChuan and Kaijian. Duanxi county is governed by Deqing Prefecture.
In 1280, Zhaoqing Prefecture was changed to Zhaoqing Road, and the general office was set up, which was subordinate to Guangxi Road (in 1280, it was changed to Guangdong Road). In 1330 ad, there were 7 counties, 2 roads and 2 prefectures: Duanxi County, Longshui county and lideqing road;
In the ninth year of Hongwu in Ming Dynasty (1376), Deqing Prefecture was changed to Deqing Prefecture, and Duanxi county was abolished. Duanxi county was directly under the jurisdiction of the prefecture. Longshui, FengChuan and Kaijian are three counties under the prefecture. It belongs to the office of Si Zhaoqing, the governor of Guangdong Province. In the fifth year of Wanli (1577), Zhaoqing Prefecture was led by Deqing Prefecture, Gaoyao, Sihui, Xinxing, Yangjiang, Yangchun, Guangning, Gaoming and Enping. In 1577, Dong'an County (today's Yunfu county) was set up in the South Bank of Xijiang River in Jinkang Township, Yangliu, Duqi, Silao and Sibian in Gaoyao County, Furong ertulian in Xinxing County, and some parts of Longshui County; Xining county (today's Yunnan county) was set up in the southwest of Ducheng county and some parts of Longshui County; and Luoding county was set up in shenglongshui county. At this point, all the land south of Xijiang River was separated. Deqing Prefecture led the closure of Sichuan and Kaijian counties.
In 1730 (the eighth year of Yongzheng reign of the Qing Dynasty), the prefectures of Sichuan Province and Kaijian county were assigned to Zhaoqing Prefecture. Wuling County, Deqing Prefecture, belongs to Zhaoqing Prefecture of Xiling Road, the governor of Guangdong Province, and later changed to Zhaoqing Prefecture of guangzhaoluo road.
In October 1912, Deqing Prefecture was changed to Deqing County. In 1914, it belonged to Guangdong Province. In the ninth year of the Republic of China (1920), the abandoned road was directly under the jurisdiction of Guangdong Province. In 1923, it once belonged to Xijiang rehabilitation supervision office. In 1932, it belonged to the office of appeasement Committee of Northwest District of Guangdong Province. In October 1936, it was the office of the third district administrative inspector of Guangdong Province. In May 1949, he was the administrative inspector and security commander of the 12th district of Guangdong Province.
On December 1, 1949, the people's Government of Deqing County was established under the special administration of Xijiang, Guangdong Province. In 1952, it belonged to the central Guangdong administrative office. In 1956, it was a special office of Gao Yao. On October 25, 1958, Deqing County merged with FengChuan County, which was called Defeng county. It belongs to Jiangmen special office. In April 1961, Deqing County was divided into two counties, and the organizational system of Deqing County was restored. It is under the leadership of Zhaoqing special administration. In 1968, it belonged to the Zhaoqing regional Revolutionary Committee. In January 1980, it belonged to Zhaoqing district administrative office of Guangdong Province. On September 29, 2003, 14 towns were transformed into 13 towns: shapang town was abolished and incorporated into Guanwei town. On June 16, 2005, the Department of civil affairs of Guangdong Province approved (No. 30, Yuemin District): to cancel Decheng town of Deqing County and set up Decheng sub district office as the agency of Deqing County Government. Decheng sub district office has jurisdiction over the administrative area of Yuande Town, with a total of four neighborhood committees and four village committees.
