Jiangyong County Jiangyong County, subordinate to Yongzhou City, Hunan Province, is located in the southern border of Hunan Province. It borders Jianghua County in the East, Fuchuan County in Guangxi in the south, Guanyang County in Guangxi in the west, Gongcheng Yao Autonomous County in Guangxi, and Dao County in the north. Jiangyong County has the titles of "Nvshu culture" and "hometown of Chinese pomelo", which was called Yongming in ancient times. Qinshili county has a long history. In xiacengpu town of Jiangyong County, there is Gantang village, a national key cultural relic protection unit and a thousand year old ancient village of guxiemu county. Jiangyong Nvshu was recorded in Guinness century record in October 2005, and the custom of Nvshu is listed in the national intangible cultural heritage. In July 2020, the National Patriotic Health Association decided to name Jiangyong County as the national health county for the period of 2017-2019.

In the 26th year of Qin Yingzheng's reign (221 BC), Wang Jian garrisoned the capital Pang and asked for permission to set up Yingpu County, which belongs to Changsha County, with Yingpu in the north of the county.
In the sixth year of the reign of emperor Ding of the Han Dynasty (111 BC), Xie Mu county was set up in the southwest of the county, which belongs to Cangwu County of Jiaozhou. At the same time, Changsha County was set up as Lingling County, and Yingpu county was changed into Lingling County of Jingzhou.
From the first year of Ganlu (265) of the Three Kingdoms (Wu) to the northern and Southern Dynasties, Xie Mu belonged to Linhe county (changed from Song Dynasty to Linqing state). Yingpu belongs to Yingyang county (Lingling County in Western Jin Dynasty, yongyang County in Liang Dynasty).
